Best player on the pitch until Frankie took him out. He killed a goal kick on the popside touch line and turned that reminded me of Loram

99% of the fans were a credit yet we give the 1% the airtime they crave.

TUFC Fans Banned?
I'm confused by this post.Teigngull wrote: ↑08 Apr 2019, 16:26 After listening to the live feed & now watching the various highlights provided, I can definitely see why some thought it necessary to enter the field of play after Wynts last minute leveler, it meant so much to a lot of people that rational thinking went out of the window, I agree no harm done & if the boot was in the other foot I'd hate to see it, But, the over celebrating In my eyes is not the issue, it's the twatish over posturing of the kiddie winks who think they're hard, that gets my goat.
A couple of lemonade shandys & feck me it's time to take on the world & his wife, GROW UP you juvenile toss pots, you don't represent me or my club & you're not welcome with that attitude, what would happen if we drew Millwall or West ham away in the cup ?
I'll give you the answer now, they'd be nowhere near the fixture because they're nothing but a bunch of kindergarten pussys, FACT.
I agree with your sentiment regarding the pitch invasion but there was no twatish over posturing, no threats of violence, nothing. The only allegations of violence have been levelled at wokings security who, allegedly manhandled a disabled supporter and struck his daughter in the face.
What the cameras and photos don't show is the woking supporters running the length of their home end to goad our supporters each time they scored. Our fans in that corner responded with the v's. That was it.
Considering the numbers there, I thought we were a credit.
The kids in the corner was unfortunate but it was only high spirits

I was at that game and, to this day, is the worst challenge I have seen on a football pitch.
It was so bad that Bissett got charged with assault and it went to court. He got off thanks to the intervention of then FA chairman Graham Kelly who was clearly shitting himself about a precedent being set.
Kelly took the stand and said that Bissetts elbow leading jump could be seen on a football pitch hundreds of times on a Saturday.
The only plus point was I think Bissetts career nosedived after this

Seems a large amount of Woking fans aren't arguing with Gerrings second yellow but thought the first was harsh????
I know I was wearing yellow tinted glasses but I thought that first yellow on Keating could easily have been a red in today's climate

Fair point. However, I do think home advantage will be crucial for woking.fred wrote: ↑06 Apr 2019, 22:17 Absolutely not being smug!! Woking outplayed us twice for large parts this season but having just seen Wealdstone and Chelmsford the play offs are a lottery!! They are good sides as are Woking!! So proud of our players today and thoughout the season. WSM/Bath have proved that anyone can beat anyone which is why winning the league is so important!!

I thought you totally outplayed us at home in the first half and we came back to secure a draw!! We did the same today!! Yes Woking have been our biggest rivals but momentum it everything come the play offs and 2 points from 9 is not good form!!

Just back from the game. Inferior for 80 minutes but I thought the signs of recovery started from about 65-70 minutes. Gerrings red card was both predictable and probably game changing.
Fair play to woking, I thought they gave it a real go but the last 10 minutes showed maybe why we are top and they aren't.
No doubt we were below par but the hard work was done last Saturday and Tuesday. Roll on party time Saturday, hopefully!

The Leisure Centre right opposite the ground is the best bet but it will fill up early. There are a couple of car parks about 10-15 mins walk away, other than that, it's pot luck with street parking.

Got my tickets by phone today. Looking at their forum it looks like the penny has dropped and the are stressing about their home end being taken over too.
They now know we are going to sell out

BBC Radio Devon
Just looking to gauge opinion here..
The BBC have started showing a bit more interest lately, much to my annoyance. The way they dumped us after relegation was, in my opinion, a disgrace.
We have larger gates then most of the teams above and some in League two, making their "lack of interest" reasoning laughable.
So, as we near the end of the season and the title run-in, do the club involve them? Do we let them back in if we get back in to the national League?
I think the in house radio has worked quite well and I personally would tell them to jog on.

The real issue is that, in this league, we can double or triple a teams normal home gate. They are happy to trouser the cash, without accepting there may be an additional crowd control outlay on their part.
This results in 99.9% of the fans getting tarred with the same brush as the 0.1%. If you look on various non League groups on Facebook, other fans think we are knobs.

Fair enough if you heard that, I can only comment on what I saw/heardKernowgull wrote: ↑21 Jan 2019, 22:02 That was full blown Thuggery, it definitely wasn't handbags.
I also found a large chunk of our fans shouting and singing paedo at Ryan Clarke for the whole of the second half incredibly cringeworthy.
Whereas in the past I've taken many friends and colleagues to Torquay games, and always been excited about what they'd think of our away following/atmosphere, I wouldn't dream of it based on what I've seen this season.

So you are saying that treating this game the same as if they were playing East Thurrock and the police not having a spotter at the station isn't relevant? Okgateman49 wrote: ↑21 Jan 2019, 21:49 Perspective? Yes, murder or manslaughter in your quoted cases but I'll stick to thuggery for what I saw.
Another contributor has apparently condoned the use of flares but, I repeat, it is a criminal offence under the The Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc.) Act 1985 to attempt to enter a football ground with one or having gained entry to have one (let alone light it).
Whether or not Bath treated the match as 'higher risk' is not at issue here, that is a completely separate matter as is activity in the city centre.
I was not condoning the use of the flares of you read it back, merely pointing to the lack of stewardship and a small police presence. It was their biggest gate for 40 years........
