Can't say for performances but I believe that Hebbes and Bell are Torquay Academy players. By Hancock do you mean Hancox? As in Will Hancox?

And I suppose you've got a perfectly good explanation as to why you think that he is a very poor manager? You seem to have a habit of insulting certain people without having the stones to provide one piece of evidence or explanation. Calling Steve Breed a 'farce of a human' still sticks in my mind...
If you do just 5 minutes of research on Martin rogers you will see that he took up the position on a hugely restricted wage budget in 2014 after the resignation of John Clarkson and managed to rebuild the squad and gain promotion to the Southern Premier League just two seasons later. 'Very poor' manager? Doesn't look like it. Unless you can shed some light as to why he is?
***EDIT***
Just realised you were referring to Nicho, not Martin Rogers (sorry all, been a long day and very tired!)

Not too concerned by the result, being a pre season friendly I have no doubt that experimental formations, tactics and of course players are being put to the test, just looks like today's plan hasn't worked out and hopefully the management can learn and make improvements for the future.
Ray, do you post on every team's forum in the NL or is it just us? I'm curious...

Obviously the result means next to nothing but overall a I saw a very promising display from a a good group of players.
After an understandable initial shaky start, I thought the team really came together and we looked very dangerous going forward. I particularly enjoyed watching Pittman and Keating play together, two guys with lots of energy and pace and who were constantly creating chances for each other.
I have to say I have much more confidence now than I did this time last year, and i'm sure anyone who was there tonight will be thinking the same thing.

The number 7 was Macauley Southam I believe, was also very good against Newton Spurs. Best player on the pitch IMO.

The New Kit and Sponsor !!
Mixed feelings to be honest. It looks quite smart and crisp but as another poster mentioned, seems a lazy choice and very much a 'this one from the catalogue will do because it's got a Nike logo on it'. Then again I wasn't a fan of last years home kit when it was released but ended up buying one a few weeks later..
Will have to see it in the flesh to make a full judgement of course

Standout player for me tonight was no.7, who I believe to be Macauley Southam. He showed good pace, skill and plenty of energy. He was up and down the right wing all night and showed great anticipation for some brilliant crosses. Gets my MOM vote.

Can anyone enlighten me as to why we don't have Sparkes? Is he injured? Must've missed any news.

He had enough time to raise the flag, enough for Williams to take a few touches and make a short run before slotting it past the keeper. As I say i'm not sure about the decision, I couldn't see, but the delay between the first touch and the flag going up seemed excessive and unusual to me.

It'll be interesting to see the replay of that offside call! I wasn't in a great position to judge but not sure why it took a good minute and a discussion with the ref after the goal was scored to make the decision. Glad it didn't matter too much in the end, if anything it spurred the lads on more.
Once again we see another whistle happy ref with an inability to let the game flow, very frustrating.
Pleased with the performance today, true determination shown and everyone played their part. It ain't over yet! COYY!!!

Hard to pick 5 as I can't say that anyone had a bad game today. A good spirited team performance.

That panicked response from the club is completely unprofessional and embarrassing, what the hell were they thinking writing and publishing that?!
If Osbourne and co have nothing to hide they have nothing to fear, and therefore would not need to respond in such a manner.

A hugely frustrating game to watch. Thought we dominated large parts of the game but once again we are missing that final finish, and the weak back four seem to be letting us down more and more.
Frustrating to see that Eastleigh, a club with a decent budget and some quality players, have to resort to persistent time-wasting from 35 mins and playing the ref (who, by the way, lacked any kind of control tonight). As for Stack and his childish celebrations after the final whistle, grow up. You're embarrassing your club.
