The first half performance was OK but the heads dropping after we let a goal in has become so predictable, I'd like to know what was said at half time for the players to come out with an even worse mentality than they had before. Heads were down and they just didn't look interested.
Owers has got to go. 90% of his signings have been sh*t, he couldn't motivate the players to make a sandwich and the results are showing no signs of getting better any time soon.
Well done Osborne and Harrop, are you proud of yourselves?

Wrexham v Torquay 6/1/18
I might be on my own here but I am really struggling to understand why Owers stated that it was about 'damage limitation' at half time.
F*ck me, we are 3-0 down, bottom of the table, staring death in the face and this guy wants to play MORE defensively and invite them to come at us instead of making more positive changes to really have a go at getting something back. What more do we have to lose from 3-0 down?
I would've liked to see a more aggressive, attacking set up after the break to try our best to claw a couple of goals back. I know we don't exactly have the golden squad to pick from at the minute but if you are down 3-0 at half time then OBVIOUSLY SOMETHING ISN'T WORKING. IT'S YOUR JOB TO FIND OUT WHAT THAT IS AND CHANGE IT.
I really had high hopes for these two but they seem to be showing their ineptness more and more as time goes on.

Didnt hear the interview but blaming the players is a risky move when he's lost the fans and possibly the players respect already.CraigUnder wrote: ↑06 Jan 2018, 17:54 GO Interview: "Simple really, man marking at corner missing again just like last week" .. "Damage limitation at HT" .. "I'll get the stick tonight, but im not the one on the pitch" .. "Lets see how much everyone cares next week"
**** joke.
By the way we're playing I suspect he's lost the dressing room and morale is certainly at an all time low.
These are dark, dark times for the club.

0-3 down at half time and no substitutes or obvious changes made.
I'm struggling to understand this.

Jesus guys, it was meant as a joke.
I'm very much aware that this is a bigger problem, I can almost see Osbourne rubbing his slimy hands together now..

Eastleigh racism
Thank you for your contribution, Zeb.
I was not at the Eastleigh game but I have experienced an all too similar situation at our very own popside a couple of months ago. I was stood in front and to the left of a group of 2 or 3 over excited 15/16 year olds. They were doing the usual swearing and shouting until close to half time one of them made quiet but unmistakable monkey noises. This obviously attracted the attention of those around them, including myself, and the guy stood directly in front of them turned around and told them to shut the f**k up. I dont think anyone knew exactly which one of them made the noises. They did not return to the same place after half time.
Just because you didn't hear it doesn't mean it didn't happen. Stop being so bloody ignorant to the issue and hostile to those that are only reporting what they themselves heard.
This kind of thing has no place in modern day football and certainly not at TUFC. We as the club's fans need to do everything we can to stamp it out.

Very pleased to say that it's difficult to narrow it down to 5, a good team performance all round and I wouldn't say that anyone had a bad game.

Well done for avoiding a response to everything I've said. Your posts/opinions are monotonous and your responses where you attempt to back them up are either non existent or weak as piss.arrywithanh wrote: ↑28 Aug 2017, 16:12 Concerned by oh so many things...but it is dreadful on the pitch... Arry, as a 'true' fan of Torquay United are you not concerned as to why KN was forced out by new owners and them telling him to be very careful what he says? Kevin stated that he had to be very careful about what he was saying otherwise he'd get in trouble. Does this not concern you? It certainly concerns me.
There is something big going on behind the scenes of our club, I don't profess to know what it is, but i'm not stupid enough to think that there isn't and that all is fine and dandy.
Get your head out of GI's ass and see what it going on around you! It's very easy to blame the first team manager, this is something bigger than that.

Jack wrote: ↑21 Aug 2017, 11:11 I have been disappointed but not surprised at some of the vitriol and bile directed at Nicho.
I have never managed a football team at any level but prior to retirement I spent 30+ years managing people. When I was 33 I upped sticks from Torbay, moved 200 miles and took on a job managing a department of 50+ people. I was young, enthusiastic and keen to succeed. I was also stubborn, pig headed and my immediate boss was generally disinterested in his job and gave me minimal help and guidance. With the benefit of hindsight I would have done a lot of things differently and whilst I wasn't sacked I am sure that if I had been in the public eye as football managers are, there would have been plenty of criticism of my performance.
I have a lot of sympathy for Nicho because I have been there in my working life. Like him I always looked to develop people who worked for me and that is one of the most satisfying aspects of people manager. In his two years as manager he has helped a number of players improve themselves most notably perhaps Angus MacDonald who changed from a petulant child on the pitch to a seasoned pro in half a season.
Whatever Nicho decides to do and his life skills fit him for many roles I hope that it works for him. If he remains in football management I hope that he finds a club that really appreciates his enthusiasm and effort and that there is someone in the Boardroom or on the Coaching staff who can mentor him and challenge him when needed. Go for it Nicho!
