Maidenhead v Torquayunited 10/2/18
Gowling's injury was very unfortunate. He landed awkwardly on his ankle after being pushed in the air, could've happened to anyone and looked very painful.

PLODCAST
A fairly reassuring message from Jim Parker at the start there and it seems the HE is finally starting to listen to the fans' concerns. Thats if you believe what he is saying of course...
No excuses whatsoever for that article though, stupid and unprofessional attack on the fans. I'd like to see an apology from him but doubt we'll ever see it.

Reid misses a one on one.
Williams wouldn't miss a one on one.

Indeed.
He also said something along the lines of 'I'll take criticism regarding stuff that happens on the pitch but I won't take personal criticism. Alot of it has been personal lately and frankly isn't true."
Sooo.. you don't like gravy then?

Shame. I thought he was really improving over this season and serves as a very useful anchor in the middle.
All the best for the future Damon.

So it looks like the HE is starting to pay attention.

David Thomas' article is still a bit weak but at least he is asking the questions to CO. I enjoyed reading Richard Hughes' article however, going much harder in to Osborne and calling him out to show that he does indeed care about the club.
Let's keep this momentum and keep the pressure up!

Top posting CP Gull, you've summed up our team problems pretty comprehensively there. Morale is at an all time low and god knows what the dynamic duo said to the team at half time but they looked defeated before they even stepped on to the pitch. As for Owers' signings, they have been 90% awful and the players that look OK don't hang around for long!
Does anyone know if Dave Hedges is still in the picture? Haven't seen or heard any mention of him for a while..

I second that, I have finally joined and I implore every fan to do the same.Teigngull wrote: ↑22 Jan 2018, 21:20 Yep , it's no good moaning & groaning when the bottom finally falls out of TUFC & saying to yourselves " Oh dearie me, I didn't realise it was that bad "
Join the TUST & get a voice , a UNITED voice at that , let us show the bastards they can't grind us down.
We all love our football club , that's why we're on this forum.
To all you 'ostrich fans' with your heads buried in the sand ........... It's the quickest way to get SHAFTED from behind, dont say you haven't been warned.

Teigngull, yes I was stood in the popside and yes I heard the chants.
The large proportion of the fanbase will have great respect for Nicholson for what he has done for the club over the years, I know I do. However, not many of them would be happy to see him back as a manager. The chants were no doubt made in a tongue in cheek way to try and voice their dissatisfaction with the current management set up.
Anyway, since when do the current ownership listen to the fans?

It's well known that they never got along, Nicholson wouldn't come back to work with him and Harrop/Osborne wouldn't have him back.
Not a chance.
Eh? Who gave you the idea that was even an option?Teigngull wrote: ↑21 Jan 2018, 15:58 If, and I hope it's a big if , Harrop ever entertained the idea of asking Nicholson to come back as first team manager that would be it for me.
I would relinquish all ties with the club completely ( Inc giving up my membership with TUST ).
I cannot think of a more backward step to take.
So ,yes, let's all accept we are going down & start planning for next season in the NLS. Tully wouldn't be such a bad shout surely.
Nearly a 3 month start on everyone else should give us a chance to compete competitively.

Harrop isn't going anywhere whilst CO owns the club, bloke has no shame no matter how bad a job he does and CO wouldn't sack him under any circumstances.
