Might pay the gas bill for a month, but not more than that.
£750k-£175k = £575k
£575k x 15% = £86250
£86250 - tax (12%?) = £75900
£75900 - 50% to Thea = £37950
Total worth to us of Eunan £212,950, less than the cost of a modest 2-bed semi in Kingsteignton.
That Grimes bloke went to sit on Swansea's reserves bench for what, £5m?

Braintree v Torquay mon 29th
Make no mistake, we were VERY LUCKY TO WIN THIS GAME! At one stage, Braintree actually had possession of the ball in our half. I hate to say it but that simply isn't good enough. SORT IT OUT NICHOLSON!

Torquay vs Dover Sat 27th - Matchday Topic
When we lose, we're rubbish. When we win, we're lucky.
Dover have no money, apparently. They must pay their airfare in magic beans.
What alternative universe, Stephen King, bullshit hell do I find myself in?

Huth in two minds?
You're judging from an amateur psychologists guesswork based on a YouTube video. My counter comes from a marginally* more authoritative source.eastmoorgull wrote:"this simply isn't true."
I was there, I saw KN's reaction.
Watch KN at the end ......................Is that the reaction of a manager who isnt interested? Of course many other factors have to come into play, the next day; but in terms of how Huth played I'm sure Kev was thinking in a positive forward direction at that time. And so were many many others.Power of bloody hind sight ofcs
*not marginal in the slightest.

Huth in two minds?
Just to temper things, it's probably worth pointing out that this simply isn't true.eastmoorgull wrote:By the way KN talked to him immediately at the end of the match his mind was made up too.

Huth in two minds?
Eastleigh, with respect to Toddy, are a totally irrelevant club. He can earn an extra £100/week there for three years or he can come here and be in the Championship on £3k/week in 18 months time.

Do the Club owe Gaming International any money?
The PF is, always has been and always will be ring-fenced for the manager and strengthening his squad. We could owe GI £1,000,000,000,000,000 and your fiver would still be used to pay Ronald MacDonald Huth his week's salary.

United 2 WBA 1
Ben Foster (£4m)Jeff wrote:How strong was the WBA side?
Jonny Evans (£6m)
Darren Fletcher (Bosman)
Rondon (£12m)
Saido Berahino (youth product, valued at £22m+)
Jonas Olsson (£1.2m)
Matt Phillips (£5.5m)
James McClean (£1.5m)
Those are the full internationals that I can think of off the top of my head. The prices are their reported transfer fees to WBA.
Three there have appearances for Man Utd and I'd say Evans and Fletcher probably have a dozen medals between them, including a UCL winners apiece.
This was their starting XI, pretty much, and they got beaten fair and square.

Maths no one's strong point, I see.
Sell 400 STs at £300 or 1100 at £200. Which brings in more money? Which guarantees attendance of more people? Which drives greater additional revenue from matchday sales? Which makes punters feel they're getting a better deal?

The Gaming International Files
Of course it's nonsense. Of course we're being lied to. Of course there's no confidentiality agreement. Of course of course of course.SenorDingDong wrote: All of which is nonsense, if either party wanted to inform the fans of the current state of negotiations they could, they simply don't want to. It's not as though revealing what is happening is going to give away information that will allow another company to swoop in there and steal the stadium opportunity away from them, there isn't going to be another company even remotely interested in the idea, hell many people have even called into doubt the potential for a revenue driving stadium so close to a housing development anyway - and there isn't another site for a stadium in the Bay other than Clennon Valley or building off the bypass and each would be hugely controversial.
I don't think anyone is under the opinion that it's Dave Phillips deliberately hiding the information, it's very clearly Gaming International but if they cared about the fans at all or were in this for the long haul they would be feeding us information, which as already mentioned they well could. Nearly every major stadium development is covered in the local media in intense detail - look at the extensive coverage of Bristol Rovers' stadium deal, which hasn't even broken ground yet. You just sign a non-compete with the local council that they can't discuss a stadium development with another developer until negotiations have concluded one way or the other. Even if it's minor information it'd change fan perception and atmosphere. The fact that they won't and they aren't tells us everything about what the company's intentions for the club are and is a key driver of the increasing fan unrest and suspicion of their activities. A few good signings only calms down the atmosphere for a brief period before the GI rumours start emerging again.
Or perhaps not.
I've given you facts, you've said my facts are nonsense and then given tinfoil hat jibberish. I've no doubt which side the general readership of this website will fall on. For this reason, I'm out. Good luck in the future.
