Nicho backed

I think we should feel quite relieved with the comments coming from Geoff Harrop. I'm no GI'ist at present, but they are a business that has taken over a Club with virtually zero cashflow due to the crazy summer season ticket sale. I know this has all been covered before on here but this debacle has had no small part in shaping the season so far.
If the right players arrive at the Club in good time I think we can then judge Nico and I admit there is an element of hope in this but surely that's what supporting most teams is about most of the time.

Should Nicholson be sacked

Surely time for Osbourne to back Nico or sack him! I feel the former option is the best way forward now but who knows what wheels are turning somewhere or of more concern if any are at all. We'll certainly be able to divine the true character of the Riviera Stadium outfit by the end of this week.
Let's hope the new Director of Recruitment is working round the clock to improve the on-field situation and a realistic measure of investment in the team is made available. Two or three players of the right stuff would lift the abysmal confidence of the whole Club which will underpin everything else that we have been promised recently. Here's hoping!

Harrop

I feel a potential major catastrophe has been averted as a result of this post and forevertufc's image of Harrop's arm waving antics from the dugout reinforced this feeling. I was aware that Harrop had made the claim of being our next manager but could anyone let me know how this entered the public domain, mainly through personal interest?

Harrop

First time I've posted for years (infact I had to re register) but this news has been a call to arms. I had no issues with Geoff Harrop during his previous spell with the Club but the idea this form of jobs for the boys scenario may be hatching has made me feel a little sick inside.
I made the 150 mile round trip throughout this bleak footballing winter and at times the enjoyment factor was pretty thin, but I kept going and eventually the sun well and truly shined over Plainmoor. The news that the man most responsible for this turn around could be squeezed would find me doing something else on a saturday afternoon next season.
The £200 season ticket is quite a deal but I'll pass it over for the present. Dave Phillips and Steve Breed please help us!
