I think it is too little too late to stay up after last night’s result.
I think we need to win the next 4, and then beat Altrincham. I cannot see us get anything from the Chesterfield or Wrexham games.
Saturday will be an interesting game, a draw helps no one, so could see a gung go attacking game for the last 20 mins.

Boreham Wood vs Torquay United - Tues 28th March 2023
Great win tonight. It is definitely the hope that kills you.
Let’s not forget that Gateshead play Yeovil next week.

The guy hasn’t played a competitive game for 4 years. Are we really hoping he signs?

Torquay United v Yeovil Town - Boxing Day
Great result yesterday. 8 points from playoff places, and a nice gap forming between us and the lower teams.
Also I believe another of the Yeovil players picked up their 5th yellow card of the season, so will also be suspended for the next game.

With clubs reducing their squads, you would have thought the pool of players we could pick from would be bigger. So I am not sure a 35 year old who played for Solihull is the best we could get. I also really hope this isn’t our replacement for Reid.

Good result. Delivering on what was expected of them.
Hopefully this will put to bed some people’s thoughts of a potential relegation battle.
Playoffs is becoming a real possibility now.

I think the goals to games ratios are a bit skewed as 130 of those games were as a substitute.
I thought he was decent in a poor team when he was here last. Hopefully he will get up to speed quickly after his long layoff.

It would make no sense to unveil a signing so far before a game. It just gives the other team a chance to prepare for them. Gives us a bit of a surprise factor.
Same goes for injury updates.

Confused about 2 million pounds investment
That may be true, although I believe offsetting losses can only be done for 5 years of losses?culmstockgull wrote: ↑01 Feb 2020, 11:41 Several things about the last post, He will never sell to the TUST and god help us if he did, they have £40,000 in the bank which in reality means we would survive for one week if we are lucky, and with no other assets to use as collateral I do not see any banks giving us money and anyway we have had our fill of well intentioned genuine supporters running things into the wall, so that's a non starter. While us PAYE slaves may sometimes struggle to understand the world of high finance, he can offset losses each season against his tax liabilities elsewhere within his empire, so while his figures may seem large his personal losses are far less. He gains nothing from liquidating the club other than cutting those losses, our club then is worthless, the Inland revenue who will be undoubtedly be owed Tax and VAT would hold charges over the name, leasehold and all other assets such as they do with Bury and therefore he cannot even have a fire sale.

Not surprised by that. Players are holding on and waiting for a football league move at the moment. Hopefully we see some signings over the next week. Including a striker to partner Reid.....

People claiming we had 5 first teamers playing last night are either fishing, or are deluded.
How many league minutes have Koszela, Slough and Lewington had between them this season? Macdonald is second choice goalkeeper now. The only real first team player that played last night was Buse has been out injured.
Also it’s worth thinking about that some players may be hoping for a league move by the end of tomorrow. If that doesn’t happen for them they can only move to the conference.
