Torquay v Grimsby

It was one of those pens that you are happy to take, but given against i would be furious, so if i were a neutral i would say not a pen, Bogle had already put it wide so i can see why you feel hard done to there.
I did think we were well worth a point though, and last 10 mins i really thought we were gonna nick it.
It does seem to ring true about things evening themselves out though, we have had 2 shockers given against us this season, away at Lincoln when Rhead (in his own words) "dropped to the floor professionally" to get a pen and red card for Gowling, and then a 'goal' conceded at Altrincham when the ball was nowhere near over the line.
Not that any of that makes the pen yesterday any easier for you to swallow of course, just pointing it out.

Torquay v Grimsby

Just to put a Grimsby fans perspective on this, after 5 and a bit year in this hell-hole league, neither our players, manager or fans (except a few idiots on The Fishy) ever expect us to just turn up and turn a team over. Our achilles heel every season is failing to beat the teams near the bottom.
Last year we dropped points to Telford, Dartford, Nuneaton and Altrincham twice.
This season already we have dropped points to yourselves twice, Kiddy and Altrincham.
These are the games we always struggle in, so if you really believe we just expected to turn up and win, you are well mistaken.
Should be winning these sorts of games with our budget ----Yes. Expect to win them ------Hell no!!! :|
Anyway good luck for the season, seems like you are back trying to play football now instead of Cox hoofball tactics, good to see. :-D
