Solihull Moors v Torquay United - 7th March

madgull wrote: 08 Mar 2023, 00:07 On a side note, does anyone know what the words between Downes and Lapslie with the supporters were at the end?
As I saw it there was some very foul-mouthed abuse coming from just a couple of fans. Lapslie came over to make the point that such abuse was out of order. He also said how much he cared and that the boys were hurting and were trying. It ended with some handshakes.
While Lapslie always give everything and had the bottle to come over and talk to the fans that can’t be said for everyone. Johnson conspicuously absent yet again. I am normally pretty tolerant as long as the effort is there but when we got back to 3-2 and then let the ten men see it out with relative ease that becomes too much. We had a couple of corners, pushed people forward, went short and ball never reached the box! I’ve reached the end of my patience!

Wrexham v Torquay

Very hostile especially after the equaliser - coins and the odd bottle directed at yellow army. Disgraceful. Glad to be back in England now😂

A lot more positives than negatives in this performance!
1, Whitfield - tireless, unselfish, 100% effort throughout and gave Joe Lewis great cover when needed
2. Warren - what a difference he has made - gives confidence to those around him
3, Hall - best performance since return from injury - he was so disappointed not to get something out of this
4. Lewis - another solid performance playing out of position - how good would he be in the middle?
5 . Little - really looked like he is ont he way back

Do not buy the white shirt! Worn once for the Wood game then hand-washed. Nike swoosh coming off to reveal blue swoosh underneath - similar to Twitter picture earlier in this post. Now have the hassle of returning this to ProDirect for refund. Great looking shirt but absolutely appalling quality - don’t waste £45!

Bad Vibes. Let's get them out of the way

Forget being detached - let's get terraced on Saturday. Bang the drum, jump up and down and bellow as loud as you can. This group have been giving there all over the recent games I have seen - Aldershot, Lincoln, Dover. Leave analysis till after 2pm Sat.
