Osborne Sells Up..... To Masters?
This would possibly be why Masters helped broker the deal between Dave Phillips and Osborne?!
Look after the after club for me for a season and by that time I’ll put the feelers out for more investment....which I believe he did the other day...I’ll sell up and then come down and take Torquay off your hands.
Looks like this was the plan all along....why else would Masters have got involved from the very beginning otherwise.

I see Bath are 3 points outside the play offs with a game in hand. They’ve had a turn in fortune since someone left them

Apologies, my bad.Gulliball wrote: ↑20 Feb 2018, 22:59 No, Fallon was the Devon based non-contract player that allowed the budget to be diverted elsewhere, as per Gerring, Finch, Fisher, Corderoy and everyone else of the same ilk signed during that era. Gerring made a reasonable impression, but none were brought in to improve the starting XI.
We offered contracts to Pittman, Keating, Gray and (loanee) Reid. That was where the striking budget went, not Fallon.
Tonight was a big disappointment. From a brief window of hope, the last two home games have destroyed any chance of another great escape. We're now looking at regional football, without any confidence in how we're being run on the pitch or off it.

One thing that does bother me is why Owers doesn’t feel the need to come over and clap the fans and just trudge off down into the tunnel?!

Mrs Richards: When I pay for a view, I expect something more interesting than that.
Basil: But that is Torquay, madam.
Mrs Richards: Well it's not good enough.
Basil: Well may I ask what you expected to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House perhaps? The Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically...
Mrs Richards: Don't be silly. I expect to be able to see the sea.
Basil: You can see the sea! It's over there between the land and the sky!
Guest: I'd need a telescope to see that.
Basil: Well might I suggest you move to a hotel closer to the sea. Or preferably in it.
