MOTM - Boreham Wood

1. Every TUFC fan that made the effort to travel to Boreham Wood, no matter how far.
2. Every TUFC fan that made the effort to travel to Boreham Wood after witnessing the Woking defeat on Tuesday.
3. Luke Young - probably the only one who looked interested or approached the game with any sort of professionalism yesterday.
4. Aman Verma - the best of a bad bunch, in my opinion.
5. Food & drink kiosk staff - 7/10 for the cup of tea.

New Signing: John-Prince Rylah

Anyone know what's happened to him? Not been much mention of him since, or Goldy Capela for that matter. Were they just signed for the trophy games when we were running thin?

Dan Butler

A good friend of mine is a Pompey fan and he said that a lot of their fans will be disappointed to see him go.

Apparently he was waiting for an offer from higher up which, as he mentions in his interview, never came about. Paul Cook was supposedly not too fussed about keeping him on as he's just added Enda Stevens to their squad.

I think we've got ourselves a decent player - and certainly one of a higher calibre than I was expecting us to be signing this summer.

Things look to be shaping up quite nicely. What a difference a month makes!

Just a thought...

DJ Campbell was playing for free for Maidenhead in Conference South towards the end of last season. Not sure on his current situation, whether he's staying at Maidenhead or looking for something new. He started off in non-league so he's no stranger to it and at 33 he could still have something to offer.

Considering he played for free last season he may not be worried about a small wage.

Like I said, just a thought.

Just looking at the Evo-Stik website.

Didcot Town have a striker, John Mills, who scored 50 during the 2014-15 season. That's an impressive tally in any league. Could be worth a look, whatever league (if any) we find ourselves in next season.

Also, ex-Argyle and Truro striker Stewart Yetton could be a cheap option, although I'm sure he's been mentioned before.

I know at the moment the priority is for us to have a team to support next season - just trying to be optimistic!

Scot Bennett is now a free agent after leaving that club from down the road.

Newport release 11.

Some decent players there, including Robbie Willmott, Lee MInshull, Aaron O'Connor and Adam Chapman.

Gillingham have released 4 including CB Leon Legge. He'd be decent at this level and no stranger to non-league.

Also, MIllwall have released 18 players including CB Jake Goodman who was on loan at AFC Wimbledon last season.

Fair point.
