I disagree that Bath were the better team and IMO we certainly wasn’t given a footballing masterclass by them in the 1st half. Yes the first half was turgid, but I noticed a number of misplaced passes and mistakes from Bath too. Neither team set the world alight.

In all honesty, I didn’t have a lot of expectations before the game, due to:

- 1st home game of the season
- Apprehension about the crowd numbers/ crowd reaction (understandable given our recent decline)
- Newish team (still needs time to gel)
- New League
- New opponents

That said, I was very pleased with the points and the clean sheet, irrespective of how well we played. How many times have we played like that over the last few seasons and have come away with the square root of fu(k all?

Let’s face it, every team that comes to Plainmoor will want to up their game. Our fitness, and FT status should be enough to negate this throughout the season though.

Special shout out to the yellow army that attended last night. I thought the atmosphere (especially in the 2nd half) was superb, probably the best it has been in a long long while.

I too think this is a very good signing. We’ve been crying out for someone to control and lead our midfield for a while now. Hopefully, Asa can do the business for us.

I tell you what we’ve been good at all season... making the opposition look like Barcelona. Tonight was no exception.

They have a player sent off in the 3rd minute, we miss the resulting penalty and 15 seconds later, we’re 1 down. We’ve played the bottom team in this god awful league for 87 minutes with ten men and still lost. You can’t make this shite up.

How bad does this have to get before it gets better?

Owers came in for a lot of stick from the Bench (that’s Bristow’s, not his bench) and started to talk back. Not sure what was said though as I was too far away.

Does anyone know what happened to Kuhl? He was on the pitch during the pre-match warm up, but wasn’t standing by the dugout in his usual spot.

I would have thought most of the fans here tonight are season ticket holders.

I can’t see many people paying good money on a cold Tuesday night to watch this shower of shite.
