Lolos reminds me of a young Jamie Reid, deemed surplus to requirements by his former manager yet a player with bags of talent.culmstockgull wrote: ↑02 Jan 2022, 20:01 What an atmosphere, what a result, my so called waterproof coat is anything ,but even driving home in an ever increasing puddle did not take the smile of my face. Did we deserve it, on balance yes, I thought Hall had one of the poorest first 45 minutes I have seen, but back to his usual in the second half.Lolos has obvious talent but little footballing brain, how long can we continue with him until that lightbulb comes on is anyones guess. Their goal was a cracker and holmans winner was him back to his best, Armstrong made all the difference when he came on and I hope the rumours of him moving on are not true.
More concerned with the comments on Johnsons post match which were enigmatic to say the least but worrying none the less.
In GJ we trust.

Are the highlights available on BT? My series link has not captured an episode for agesSuperNickyWroe wrote: ↑02 Jan 2022, 17:33 Well done to the team, GJ & the fans!![]()
Have to say that has to be one of the most pleasing results of the season so far.
Goal down, players missing who would have played and a 90+ minute performance.
Delighted for Dan Holman - have seen the goal on BT Sport - great ball from CLE and then what a first touch then finish!![]()

Had the ball fallen in front of any other TUFC player yesterday the chances of it ending up in the back of the net would have been 50/50 at best ,eyes closed, hit and hope. I'm not so sure we would have won.
Thankfully AL is a technically gifted player yet the odds of him scoring were still 50/50! Half of him wanted to blast it over the bar and stick 2 fingers up to the pop side, the other half of him wanted to prove a point. Luckily he chose the latter.
I didn't hear many boo's once the ball crossed the goal line. Some of our so called fans are so fickle.

Boxing Day Fixture v Yeovil Town FC
In my opinion Shopping at Tesco is fraught with more risk than a matchday experience at Plainmoor under the current Covid 19 regulations.
The stewards have been brilliant, and supporters have played their part too. The club have really thought this through and is yet another sign of the level of professionalism shown by them.

I can only hope this reminds our local council of just how important TUFC are to the local economy. If it were not for Covid, between 500/1000 Stockport fans would have been at today's game, with many making a weekend of it.

Re: Torquay v Barrow 26th October
Can anyone enlighten me on events after the half-time whistle was blown. Did our management team keep the team on the pitch to avoid confronting Incensed Barrow players or did something else happen?

If he was stretchered off writhing in pain I could understand why. The fact he walked off unaided has to be good news and hopefully it was more of a tweak. I bloody hope so because his contribution today was exceptional.

Liverpool have just beaten Norwich tonight by the way...Forest gull wrote: ↑09 Aug 2019, 13:00 Blimey we lost to the team that finished 2nd in the league above us last season. Plus we had our chances. No need to panic at all yet. Calling players shit is out of order. Remember how Reid’y got hammered a year ago? He went on to have a pretty good season.
Calm down a bit and give the lads some support, they responded well to it last season!!!
Anyone that thought we would walk this league clearly knows very little about football or is about 12.
COYY. 2-1 to us.

Where will our most "Easterly" based fixture be played next season?CP Gull wrote: ↑10 May 2018, 20:20 Line up is as predicted.
Interesting to hear Dave Thomas on today's HE podcast still talk about possibility of Hereford or Kidderminster ending up in NLS?
Bizarrely, Gloucester (in effect Evesham) will in actual fact be our most "Northern" based fixture next season .... certainly for our North West based fans .... thinking of you Mr. Bastard![]()

All part of the five year plan then...nickbrod wrote: ↑17 Mar 2018, 21:27 From evidence today this squad has some momentum and is actually playing like a half decent football team. We just lack that killer instinct in front of goal but Romain, in particular, and Williams cause opposition defences all kinds of problems which, in turn, takes some of the weight off the defence.
Owers has developed, maybe not a winning formula, but one which is harder to beat.
