Season Tickets. Collection Arrangements.
Thanks for this info, Portugull (as no miserable b***** has bothered to reply to your posting!). As far as I can see, there is nothing on the official site, nor has there been any mention in the Herald Express. I also thought, but I may be wrong, that we would receive an email when the Season Tickets were available. Cheers!

Tiverton v TUFC PSF 20/07
It bothers me a little bit that Shaun Mc.Donald is having to play in all the friendlies as our new keeper isn't match fit. We have two more friendlies this week and we don't want Shaun to pick up any injuries/strains before August 3rd.

Zebroski was on trial ...... er, I'll re-word that. Zebroski was a triallist at Aldershot but has since moved on to Woking, also as a triallist.

Both Gary Monk and Darren Moore are reportedly on the 'shortlist' for the Derby managerial post.

Gawd ..... you've trawled up some easily forgettable names there, SMW. But not fair to name Courtney Cameron twice!!!! Wivel has added a couple - Benny Laryea, Dean Mooney and Dale Tonge. I don't even remember goalkeeper Conrad Logan. How have some of those become professional footballers???

Natiional League South or North is his limit. He will be found out in National League if he signs for Woking. Commanding in the air, positional sense poor and distribution worse. I would be very, very surprised and disappointed if Gary signs him, even as 'cover'. So like lucyx2 - ZERO CHANCE.

Sad News Today
Yes - sad news and a dreadful shock for his family and everyone who knew him. I don't wish an early death on anyone, but why is it when it happens, it always seems to be the decent guys? Justin Edinburgh was a family man, popular player and manager who never brought the game 'into disrepute'. Terrible for Martin Ling as well who I believe is General Manager at Leyton Orient.

Good signing by Sol Campbell I think. I was impressed by him when we had him on loan from Leicester (?)Griff1n wrote: ↑05 Jun 2019, 22:53 Jak McCourt has joined Macclesfield Town.

Hi Andy. A hat-trick from Tommy Northcott and one each for Ernie Pym and Geoff Cox. Taken from My Centenary History book ...... not yours !!Roman Gull wrote: ↑27 May 2019, 08:56 Morning, Andy Charles is back discussing TUFC programmes in the 2nd part of our nostalgic summer series, this time it's Tranmere at Plainmoor in 1960

Yep - you're still compus mentis, Wivel. He was known as 'Snip' Cornish - don't know why Snip.
I didn't remember Reg Jenkins not being liked by some fans - I thought he was a great player and was sorry to see him leave. Another player during that golden period was Brian Handley. I think that he more or less lost his place when Stubbsy arrived on the scene. I don't think he played many games with Robin Stubbs in the side, but I remember one game when Stubbs, Handley, Jenkins AND Tommy Northcott were in the team, and maybe Peter Anderson on the wing, and we were untouchable.

So not Asa Hall, then??? Reid has proved that with a good strike partner, he can score goals although they will be harder to come by in National League. He was played out wide by both Nicholson and Owers whereas Gary Johnson has shown that his true position is as a striker.
When it comes to central defenders, I was impressed with Dartford's Ronnie Vint. But I understand league clubs have been watching him and if he has a lucrative 'second job', he may prefer to stay part time. I'm sure Gary Johnson and brother will be looking to strengthen the side with players who will complement the players at the club. No prima donnas like Brett Williams.

Cornish, Greeks and that other Green team.
Getting back on topic, Argyle are home to Scunthorpe and Southend play Sunderland next Saturday. Although Sunderalnd will be thinking ahead to the Play Offs, I think they will at least draw with Southend and Argyle will beat Scunny. At least, that's what I'm hoping. I hope Exeter make the Play Offs but I don't expect them to progress further - but good luck to them anyway. As an exiled Cornishman, I was sorry that we lost at home to Hungerford which has in effect relegated Truro, although they can't blame their demise on one result.
Wasn't Gary Johnson also favourite to return to Yeovil? As Plainmoor78 posts - if he is backed, he will stay. Surely the increase in Gate revenue since Gary's arrival will have eased the financial worries a little?
