Torquay v Braintree TUE 17th

Obviously too early in the morning for some of us to grasp this.
Sorry I still had sleep in my eyes and with the anger still raging from last night I failed to read it properly and I'm beyond tongue in cheek humour. The best comedians are Hargreaves and that other clown Hodges.

Torquay v Braintree TUE 17th

6667GULL wrote:Please don't forget Ladies and Gentlemen of the forum that the new level of ineptitude achieved last night is in no way the fault of Chris Hargreaves.
It is the fault of Alan Knill, Martin Ling, Paul Buckle and everyone back to David Webb and beyond.
Chris Hargreaves is blameless.
We will train well for the next 3 days and show against Kidderminster exactly how fine a side we really are.
What a stupid comment yeah it was Lings fault that he got ill ??? We was just outside the playoffs with games in hand when he left so how the hell was it Lings fault. Would you be to blame if you caught an infection and it didn't respond to anti biotics and you had to be hospitalised and in your absence your employer decided to sack you .

Goodbye Hargreaves

Harrop didn't even pick the team that day, the first thing he did was sit down with manse and nico and he asked them how they should play. They told him to recall Lathrope from aldershot and play the diamond that had served so well under Ling which is what he did. Did he pick the team most definitely not but he put the names on the team sheet and took the applause

Is Geoff Harrop worth his money ?

From what I'm hearing its a strong possibility that the youth will be shut down. Geoff harrop has been heard saying that he has no job

Please resign Chris

Dave me and you have had some great chats and I respect your opinion 100% but we both know he has under achieved and if we had the funds he would be out on his arse.

Is Hargreaves fit for purpose?

If Ling had come back we'd be League 1 at best, League 2 at worst. We just didn't know how good we had it and have paid the price ever since.

He will never resign as he's too full of himself, he will go eventually but that day will be May 2016 once his contract is finalised as we don't have the funds to pay him up. And after you have failed miserably as a manager at Torquay where do you then go. I bet he wishes he would of stayed at Bournmouth as u21 manager but we all know that he craves the limelight.

SEMI-PRO/PART TIME SQUAD PLAYERS?

I think a lot of people need to get a reality check as there are numerous part time clubs that pay a majority of their players more than what some of ours are on. The exception being the players that were on contracts awarded by Knilly. Most of the players signed this year could earn the same being part time but all players want to remain a full time pro.

He was transfer listed because of wages, not at all because of performance. IE if downes was on £600 a week he would never have been put on the list but because he was nearer to the magical £1000 he was put on the list. So the reality is Hargreaves is saying judge me on my players, but the truth is if downes was on less money he would be one oh his players as he has constantly picked him unlike benyon who is on more money. But hey crack away and be drawn in by the dilusionsal rubbish being put out and I don't have a crystal ball but I can't wait to say hey I told you so.

I give you Tonge, Harding and Benyon but downes starts whenever he is available and at the beginning of the season Hargreaves was bigging up Cameron as if he was the next ronaldo and his treatment of Pearce who was voted player of the year last season is nothing short of comical. But if you believe that once Hargreaves gets these players of the wage bill Torquay will now become a force and we will regain our league status it's time to call in the men in the white costs as the lunatics have taken over the asylum

You call me just about anything you want for less than half of that a week!

I can guarantee you he's not on nowhere near that figure.

I'm sick of hearing from the king of spin about wait until next season when I have my own team, it's pretty much his own team now and with the budget cuts planned for next season it's only going to get worse. Chris's record with us as a manager is poor but in front of the cameras he will twist and turn to manipulate the situation when the truth is his team selections have been dubious on numerous occasions and when it doesn't work out he blames everyone apart from himself. I think he needs to look a bit closer to home.
