Nigel Farage v Nick Clegg

Agree with Danny - no chance is that happening. And Farage has said as much.

On the debate, Farage won, but Clegg didn't lose. The losers were Milibobble and Camerooon. I know clearly where the Lib Dems and UKIP stands on our relationship with Europe. And I have a whole load of question marks on Conservative and Labour plans for our two main political parties. Conservatives say referendum after election and Labour (as with most policy matters) are remaining fairly tight-lipped on the issue and just hoping they can come to power on no policies whatsoever. The lack of knowledge I have from conservatives and Labour regarding Europe will be noted in my voting in the European elections...

Best goalkeeper in history?

PhilGull wrote:To be fair I always thought Raynor was one of our better keepers. I obviously know feck all though as he is now 30 years old playing in the Isthmian League Division One South!
To be completely honest I agree with you. The worst goalkeeper I thought I saw at Plainmoor was Reading loanee Mikkel Andersen but he is still playing professional football at a much higher level than our beloved gulls...

Ex-Gull watch

I went to watch Dartmouth play in SDFL Div 1 the other week. A certain Karl Baker was leading the line for them (bear in mind this is a level where no one is paid and everyone basically plays for fun). As expected, he was a cut above most people on the pitch and notched a couple of goals. He has bags of pace (for this level!) and seemed to have a decent ping on him. Despite his impressive display I can still see why he was let go...

Nigel Farage v Nick Clegg

I'd say Farage won the first debate.

BUT, and it's a crucial but... I'm not sure I've heard enough to make me put the 'x' next to 'out' on a referendum piece of paper.

Agree Scott. It's completely unprofessional of Matt to bring colour in to this.

Shame on you, Matt.

FIFA 14

I didn't buy the FIFA games during our conference years.

I imagine the people at EA Sports realise a vast drop in sales when Torquay aren't included in the game. It's only a matter of time before they re-include us.
