Re: the final furlong
Saw a lot of the players at Newton Abbot races yesterday. Was a little start-struck being up close to them.
Not surprised to see Billy Kee stuffing his face with cheese and onion crisps and a can of coke though - Roberston and Ellis were on the ice lollies! Good to see Tomline, Stanley and Jake getting involved with the social stuff - hopefully they'll all want to stay down here and sign up permanently.
You could defo tell they were all footballers though, absolutely love themselves

Re: League 2: Bury v Torquay United 15/03/2011
spent most of the morning reading this thread and admittedly got a bit emotional at times!
Although I didn't go to the game it was such a nice change to watch the highlights and see all the chances Bury missed, them hitting the post, going inches wide, etc instead of it happening to us!
This must be up there with the Wycombe result as performance/win of the season.
It really does make me proud to support this team - we really do have a good squad of players here and credit to Buckle for turning things around after the Hereford result where it was complete doom and gloom.
6 points off 3rd place - fantastic! Lets sneak into those play-offs with the momentum!

Getting a pm/email to the one and only Chris Hargreaves
Bit of a random question but is this possible? I have a proposition that i'd like to offer to him for all he did for TUFC during this time there. From reading the captain's blog i know he would be interested but i don't really know how i'd go about getting a message or email to him?
Don't suppose anyone on here has any links, ideas?

Re: Cheltenham Vs The Gulls!
Right mainly for Brett and Scott, my travel arrangements are as follows:
Am doin half a days work (much like today as ive spent most of my day playing football manager and have led torquay to champions league triumph in 2032 beating ac milan 3-2 in the final - sorry just had to brag!) and then getting the train from cardiff to gloucester leaving cardiff at 2:45pm.
I'm going to the game with a mate (not a torquay fan but he loves it really) so he'll pick me up and take me to the game in the evening.
As i didnt fancy rushing to try and get that train at 9:52, im gunna stay over his house and get a train home around 11am the next morning, and then going back into work to do another half a day before getting a lift home to bridgend!
Bit selfish i know as this doesn't help you guys in terms of travelling together but money is tight and this way its only cost me £12 in train tickets.
Shall i give you my mob number and we could meet up at the pub before the game and then watch the game together?
