Best goals seen at PLAINMOOR

One that sticks for me was by Dave Tearse in the mid 70s down the Warbro Road end
Ian Twitchen bombed down the right wing hammered a cross in which was met by Tearse about the penalty spot and rocketed past the goalie

Torquay United v Wrexham - Saturday 4th October 2014 - 3pm

[quote="ferrarilover"
Despite his Oscar winning performance, I'm not sure how badly hurt their keeper was and I certainly don't think the touch of cramp he had at worst warranted a 5 minute delay. The referee had to tell their trainer to come on at least twice before he went to the aid of the amateur dramatist.

Wrexham keeper Daniel Bachmann says he is expected to be out for at least three months with a torn medial collateral ligament in his knee.

I think Young was booked for a tackle by the Pop side
Ref played advantage to Woking and then booked him later

Torquay United v Aldershot Town – Monday 25th August 2014

On the subject of Rice's kicking
Accuracy and direction can only come from practice and concentration
but as for distance, why does he always kick from the edge of the area, surely once he has assessed wind conditions etc he might be better kicking from the goal area which may reduce the ball going straight through to opposition goalie

Just looking at the team pic on HE site (http://www.torquayheraldexpress.co.uk/i ... ighres.jpg)
Is it my imagination or are a number of waistlines slightly em large, or maybe the new kit is a tight fit
Not that I am in any position to cast dispersions on waistlines

Re: 5 worst/least favourite players since watching TUFC

Agreed Hill always gave 100%, his jump was better than many so called taller centre forwards but most of all he will go down in legend for the "he's behind you " goal
