Ex-Gull watch

Personally I think thats rubbish about Jarvis pretending to be injured. - You only have to look at him in the dugout at Taunton, he was practically playing the game although not on the pitch.

The thing to remember about Jarvis is that he was playing in a dire team for most of the time he was here. Its the typical mentality though a player goes to our rivals and they are immediately shit. Apparently Yeovil are going to get relegated now they have got Jarvis and Mcgavin. Yet the same people were saying that it would be great to have Nouble and Jarvis together.

Where we might score though is having more striking options this time around. I would say that one more forward is needed though.

How do I know that? -well its **** obvious isnt it?

Ash is ok but he is an NLS standard footballer. His main strength is his ability to take a chance but his all round game is pretty poor in all fairness. Seymour did pretty well at Hampton but hes generally ploughed his way around the local scene. It appears no team above this level wants either player.

No I havnt seen the new lad played but hes completely untried and scored loads of goals in a pub league. Jarvis may not be great but he was wanted by Yeovil and Cheltenham who are both bigger clubs than us and has generally played at a higher level.

Pick any National League side and offer them a choice of Seymour,Crosbie, Ash and Jarvis - its blindingly obvious Jarvis would be the pick.

Got to say that Hall was excellent playing in central defence at the end of last season. Should do a great job for them.

Boreham wood - **** me they arnt world beaters are they, Dont they get about 16 fans at their home games? they are back where they belong in my opinion.

We maye well not get promoted but that has got to be the aim surely, even with a new squad.

Hoping for mid table in this league is not satisfactory. We have to be aiming for promotion.

Played 21 games for Yeovil last season. They didnt offer him a contact so hardly likely to go back to Taunton. Looked very likely to come heer so no surprise. Bound to be an improvemnent on Dan Martin.

New role for Gary

Aaron Downes is apparently going to be their assistant manager and they are signing at least one player from Torquay.

Mcgavin will get another club no doubt about that.

A few rumours about regarding incoming players. Jay Foulston (games for Yeovil last season) on loan from Taunton. He wont be playing in the southern league so looks for all the world he might be coming this way.

Ryan Law - probably an obvious signing.

Cameron Hargreaves (turned down a new contract with Kings Lynn to move closer to home)

If Wotton was looking to keep some of last years squad then I wonder who they will be. With Lapslie out for a year, Jarvis, Mcgavin, and Stobbs gone I would say that they were some of our better players.

As with most players pointless trying to keep someone who wants to go somewhere else. If we want Law he will come simple as that really.
