Re: Why would a Chairman do this?
I know when someone is upset, and I spoke to the chairman after the game and he was genuinely gutted.
Re: Zebroski
If he does go, let's just remember his performance against Crawley, in which he looked like a proper retard.

Re: Danny Potter to Newport?
Well said gullsrus. Slagging off Newport isn't particularly necessary either, they are a team on the up.

Re: MESSAGE TO SIMON BAKER
Just trying to be philosophical, it isn't the end the world when you lose a manager or players. We have some really good experienced pros at Torquay like Kevin Nicholson, Chris Robertson and your favourite player Lee Mansell who won't be going anywhere hopefully. Guy Branston can be easily replaced/improved upon and although Stanley picks out a good pass I'm fairly confident we'll find a player in our own ranks or beyond to do that. I feel that a big man up front is the priority for the new manager to find.

Re: MESSAGE TO SIMON BAKER
I thought the blue would give it a lighter tone! I don't think we need to panic. It's far more important for the board to get the right man/men to manage the fine players we have and with enough connections to get onboard the inevitable and crucial loan players. I know that many fans, like me, feel we have had the best of Guy Branston, and yes it may well be great to have Stanley (although I think he's a bit slow) but if we miss out on him it's still not a disaster because of the good potential we have in centre midfield already coupled with a massive released list.

Re: why did PB never really get the...
Maybe, because he always tried to be so professional, he came across as a bit disingenuous. I personally backed him from day one, even during the few winless streaks that came about time to time. Would like to see a bigger character who has a rapport with the fans next, and somebody with a name that goes well with the chant Yellow Army (e.g. Kevin Hodges' Yellow Army)

Re: The boards view on the next manager
We've got at least a week of speculation. It's good to hear that applications are coming in from all over the place, we're more attractive than most of us believe!

Re: John Milton
If he's as important as many on this site are saying, and he stays with us, we (as fans) should give him some acknowledgement en mass at a game next season.

Re: skybet next manager odds
You're right, with the boards approval. I really trust in our chairman and the current board. Keith Curle, not doing too bad now is he?!

Re: skybet next manager odds
I'll trust the board with this one, they didn't do too bad last time. Robins shout was pie in the sky, but I reckon he is going to be a top manager one day. Most realistic appointment would be Trollope, most popular would probably be Leroy (sorry to the distinctly anti-Leroy posters).

Re: Players looking for a club
Sproule is at Hibs on quite a bit of money I reckon. One thing for sure is that there are loads of players up for grabs, but getting any of them (especially the best of them) to come to Torquay is a harder task.
