A Word of Sympathy for the Current Board.
No sympathy atall. Someone on the board needs to answer these allegations and say EXACTLY what is going on and what they intend to do about the current situation we find ourselves in. This is the worst I have seen the club at, in my 40+ years of supporting MY team, despite all the micky taking and slagging off i have endured, including the days where we had to apply to not get relegated from the old Div 4 on more than 1 occasion. Yes the board saved us from extinction, but now I am wondering if it was "for the love of the club", or for the ego trip of being avle to say what they do. What ever happens now, sonething has to happen.

Don't worry. They train really well during the week (crap attack against crap defence), on a brilliant new trg facility. They tried hard today, didn't get the rub of the green, but the improvement can be seen.........BO..OX
Does anyone else think the club have accepted relegation with the plan to be to come straight back up.

If you won the lottery what would you do
1. Give enough to cover all club wages, playing and backroom staff wages for year.
2. Put enough into account for travel and overnight stays for all matches over a certain distance away.
3. Set up decent advertising in all towns in local catchment area.
4. Put 100,000 into exclusive transfer pot
5. Have an open gate, free home game, and pay what would of been taken on gates.

Message to Kevin Nicholson
Kevin, I am really glad that since you arrived there seems to be more team cohesion and improvment. However, can I suggest one of the next trg sessions is used to watch the video of the Salford game from last night so the team can see what playing with passion, commitment and most of all confidence can do. Keep up the good work and I am sure you will get us to safety this season.

Maybe letting Downes (as an experienced centre back), go was a mistake. Sure he dropped a few clangers, but couldn't be any worse than defence is, and you could always bank on him getting a few goals aswell.

All we can do is give him 100% support. Hopefully he will start with getting the defence sorted out.

Ideas from supporters To Help Torquay United.
I have suggested to the club a few times that maybe have a raffle, at maybe £10 a ticket with prizes being:
Free tickets to next few home games or a team shirt. Cost, 2 tickets or a top.
Chance to train with team on a date agreeable to both parties. Cost, a training top.
Top prize of warming up with team on a match day, name in programme on team list, get to sit on bench during game. Cost, a training top.
if this was advertised at the club and in programme over a few games prior to tickets going on sale, I would pay £10 for the chance to win one of those. How many others would.

Who ever trains the ladies team needs to come in and show this shower of s..t how it is done. At least they seem to know what a goal is and that the idea of the game is to put the ball in it.
