Re: Roots Hall
I was hoping that somebody would answer Andy, because I'm hoping to go there as well! I've got as far as setting it on my sat nav, but I haven't got a ticket yet.....

Re: Who's lost hope?
Bah humbug to all the pessimists on here! I bring no reasons to the forum why we should avoid relegation; I'm just still hoping! What is the point of being a supporter if there's no hope? Why did I drive 200 miles (rapidly) tonight to get to the game? Because it's still mathmatically possible to stay up , that's why! COYY.....pretty please? I know it's boring, frustrating, the whole works; but each time I watch, I just think there's got to be a turning point, because I have seen these players producing entertaining football...just not often enough, & not particularly recently!

Re: MOTM - Aldershot
Rather than slating the whole team & 'defecting' to the opposition (surely you're not saying that we won't get any more goals this season unless the other side gets an own goal?) we should still be looking for signs of potential in our own squad; or what's the point of being able to bleed yellow as some posters on here profess? Leadbetter played well last night by all accounts. Good on him!

'could have sworn that someone posted earlier that Buckle was at the match, or was that joke?'
He's available ! Parted company with his club 'for personal reasons'.

Re: Club statement
well said bengull. We've all seen worse & we'd love to see better, so it's reassuring that steps are now being taken in the right direction. Can't get to the away matches, but hoping to see a good game against Port Vale.

Re: Great Come Backs of the past
I remember well January '71. We were 0-3 down to Lincoln in the FA Cup & so-called Gulls supporters were leaving in their droves at half-time. That was a brilliant come-back to win 4-3 & that has sustained me down through the years to keep coming back to watch United (although not as often as I would like, since I live at a distance & often am busy with work commitments at the weekend).

Re: Why does everyone hate the Grecians?
I've never minded Exeter. I was sad when they went down, & pleased when they got back into the League. I live nearer to their ground these days than Plainmoor, & two of my kids support them. Now Argyle is quite another matter...can't stand them , & think a spell out of the League would do them good.As far as Devon goes, it's definitely their turn!!!
