Gammon and chips. Yum yum.budegull1954 wrote: ↑12 Jan 2020, 17:10 Apparently a 'Gammon' in modern 'street' terminology is a middle-aged, mainly middle-class white male who is very angry about everything all the time and is usually red-faced as a result (hence the likeness to a gammon!). There are definitely one or two on here Wivel!

Bolton and Bury
Yes, all that the plight of Bury makes me think of is, are we next?
Clarke is staying in power for now, but what happens when he acknowledges that he won’t be getting the land and leaves, demanding his loans are paid before that? What happens if the person(s) (if any) that buy the club off him decide that the only way to pay him off is to go part time, and asset strip?
What happens if nobody wants to buy the club off Clarke? He sells off everything to get his money and that’s us gone.
We are in an incredibly precarious position but because we are doing well at the moment, some people are choosing to ignore the plight we are in.
Let’s hope that we don’t turn into a Bury ourselves, but I really do worry about the next few seasons, once Clarke realises he won’t be getting any money out of our club.

Nothing against Andrews personally, says the poster who, in the same thread, called the very same player “shit and lazy”Hammdog2601 wrote: ↑08 Aug 2019, 12:29 Buse and the new striker need to get a chance Saturday. Do who do you guys think we’ll drop from the match day squad? Keating and Andrews for me. Nothing against Andrews personally but if he has not started last 2 games he’d be the one he’d drop? I may be wrong though
Ok then....

You know exactly what you are doing by putting what you did on a public forum. It is insensitive and crass.dawlishmatt wrote: ↑04 Aug 2019, 15:50 Scott Brehaut. May I suggest that you read very carefully my previous posts concerning Southampton Gull. I have not and would never diagnose any individual as having any form of mental illness. I am not qualified to diagnose anybody with anything neither is my wife. I was saying that Southampton Gull was via his aggressive posts on this forum, he is showing symptoms consistent with a mental health diagnosis of Histionic personality Disorder. This is why I suggested that he sees his GP to be referred to a psychiatrist who is qualified to give such a diagnosis.
May I politely suggest that if you are truly concerned as to Dave’s mental state, that you raise those concerns via the private messaging facility available to you, and everybody else, and give him the opportunity to speak privately (or otherwise).
I can’t believe that you’d raise such sensitive thoughts with anybody else so publicly. Surely such things, and any other health matters are private and should only be revealed by the person concerned if they choose to.

Nonsense. I didn’t say I supported what he said - unless you can quote me. My post was concerning the crass accusation surrounding SG’s mental state and that he obviously has a mental illness.Teigngull wrote: ↑04 Aug 2019, 15:18 And of course it takes an even bigger idiot to out another !
I quite like the tag really, it shows us all just what a bully SG is & now he's getting support from the rest of his administrating clan.
Sad, so sad, is it really any wonder the font of all knowledge concerning TUFC doesn't bother on here any more ?
Trust me, Dave does not need, or seek, the support of his administrating clan (as I’m obviously now known as - you can call me Scott if you like, I’ll respond just the same) - he’s big enough and tough enough to deal with people on his own.

Trying to convince people that somebody has a mental condition simply because they disagree with your point of view, and making it seem more plausible because you are/were mental health nurses is equally as crass and pathetic as the accusations you aim at SG in the first place.

Yeah, you’re right. Let’s just bury our heads in the sand, ignore Clarke’s previous form, ignore the fact that he is desperate to **** this club over and is simply using us to get the stadium, and instead just enjoy the football.
Surely we can do both? I’m enjoying the feel good factor surrounding the football side of things right now, and obviously enjoyed last season, but let’s not lose sight of the fact that we are still owned by a guy who gives little shit about us as a football club, is pumping millions into the club and will want it back one day.....when that day comes it will matter not a jot how well we’re playing, because we won’t exist!!
