I guessing bench at best. Will imagine we will see a CM of Oastler and O'Kane (or maybe Lathrope will be back and he will play) - who knows. Just don't think Wroe will start (happy to be wrong though!!)

Oh, wonder who will be captain too?

But then, on the "live text" it says:

90:00+4:05 GOAL - Kevin Nicholson:Gillingham 1 - 1 Torquay Kevin Nicholson finds the net with a goal from just outside the penalty box to the bottom right corner of the goal. Gillingham 1-1 Torquay.

They are very slow though - they didn't report the goal until five minutes after full time!! So much for "live" text!!

Re: Away End For Home Fans Poll

wivelgull wrote:Absolutely not. It should be recognised that the supporters of TUFC are not entirely those who contribute to this forum. If that were so, it would seem that the entire fan base is made up of those who think that the creation of an 'atmosphere' by banging and shouting is what constitutes support. If these youths want to make a racket then bugger off to the away end! The pop. side is NOT for visiting fans, but for us - those who do not necessarily bang, shout, chant, make a bloody nuisance, and think that supporting a football club means only making a loud noise. Us old 'uns exist too and have our rights! If we don't want to bang and shout so much then that is our choice.
Well quite Wivel, but then the "young 'uns" have rights too, and if they want to bang and shout (or create an atmosphere if you like) then surely they are allowed to do this too. If they stay in the Pop then so be it!!

Re: Kieran charnock

Well, if he isn't playing for us, and is not in Bucks plans, then it is better for him to leave (for a fee) and spend money elsewhere to strengthen the team.

Re: When was your first Torquay game?

Odd!! This is the game we played at Plainmoor v Maccy in 2001, and we won 2-0. Maybe Soccerbase is wrong?

Re: When was your first Torquay game?

My first game was 25 March 2000 - against Plymouth.

We lost 4-0.

Second game was 24 April 2000 against Maccy.

We won 3-2 with a Willo last minute goal.

I think Torquay won 2-0 but I don't know who scored.

I looked back at the match programme today and hardly recognised any of the team!
We didn't play then on that date - here are the head to heads for the past few seasons:
