You’re in grim Barnsley. It’s right grim up there.

Drunk people don’t socially distance, but they do pay a load of tax on their booze etc....MellowYellow wrote: ↑05 Jul 2020, 14:51 London streets full of revellers as the pubs re-open. Registers keep of customers names and address for track and trace. Most put Micky Mouse/Disneyland with a few Donald Ducks thrown in for good measure. Police Federation say drunk people don't social distance (who would have thought). All this is legal. But prison sentences abound if you go get your nails clipped or watch a football match under strict controls. Go figure!

I remember at the time reading some crass statements about his drinking, and a possible brain tumour too. I’m pleased he got help for his depression, and that he is in a much better place because of it.
I also hope that it inspires other men to open up about their struggles because let’s face it, most of us men are bloody useless in doing so.

A game!!!!
At Plainmoor!!!!
Feels like ages since we played a game of football, and I am very much looking forward to finally having a result to listen out for tomorrow.

Absolutely spot on.Richinns wrote: ↑29 Jan 2020, 13:38 I can only reasonably assume some Torquay 'fans' just enjoy/wish the club to burn.
An offer of mid-table in the National League (closer to the playoffs than the relegation zone) 18 months ago would have any fan wishing the best for the club rejoicing.
Yet some are now campaigning for blood from the best coaching set-up that we have had in many young fans living memories.
Simply disgusting in my book.

I agree, it is getting very boring now.
Disagreeing with other people’s opinions is fine with me, but let’s not cross the boundaries of slagging somebody off because you disagree with them. Their opinion is just as valid as yours, so simply agreeing to disagree is much better, more mature and the right way to go.
I’m happy to admit that I’ve stepped over the line previously - a few years ago and learnt my lesson.
Let’s keep out the personal insults, the references to mental health, either of that person or in reference to others (who don’t have the chance to respond on here)
Future posts that are purely made to insult others will be deleted (at least by me).
Let’s try and get this forum back to talking about the football club that we all love - surely we can ALL agree on that!!

If people don’t like this thread, don’t post on it and leave it to die a slow death....those who wish to bang on about how shit our manager is at least have a thread in which to do so, if we leave this open, rather than hijack every other post instead.
