Who's going to Southend?

Na, can't be arsed to get up at 7-30 am, on a Saturday, drag myself 250 miles, spend £60 on fuel plus £20 to get in, just to watch the inevitable, regulation, 1-0 loss.

As you might be able to tell, I've given up.

Appealing Goodwin's red card

I didn't see it on Sat. Despite standing on the Popside. Saw the Sky coverage and thought it looked like an elbow from Goodwin. Saw it again, on Spotlight tonight, and it looked totally different. The arm, that I thought was, Goodwins was, in fact, the Newport players arm. It looked like Goodwin had turned his back and was just trying to head the ball.

We won't get away with it, we already have a black mark against us, in light of the Labadie incident. Mud sticks, I'm afraid.

Fantastic result wasnt it!
Me too Paigull, and yes it was. I was so happy when I got home, but then reality hit and I remembered that we were still bottom of the league. Another win on Sat. and things will seem a whole lot better. :engflag: :)

The fans can see this effort which is resulting in MUCH better support from the terraces ..... and maybe even from Bristow's Bench !
Ha ha Tomo. Very funny.

Seriously though, I do think that passion and commitment have been our problem this season. We had it in abundance against Rochdale and look what happened. Not sure if you went to Cheltenham, but as "well" as we played, there was no commitment or passion, we just seemed, as I saw it,to be going through the motions. Again, last night, there was a determination and, that word again, passion, in their play. Personally I believe that Benners has a lot to do with that. Not the greatest player but he runs and commits non stop. I think his attitude galvanises the rest of the team to follow his example.
Keep it up and we give ourselves a chance. COYY

No thanks. Would not want "Mad Dog" Martin Allen at my club.

Hi Paigull. Fair enough. Didnt realise you wanted the Bench. Not to worry, Pea sold her ticket last night, BEFORE the match ended.

Great result wasn't it. A win on Sat. and we can start to believe in the great escape (Again)

Good Luck Silsy

Good luck Tim. Will be hoping for a Gosport win and a Sillsy headed hat trick.

And, no Matt. Cant find it anywhere on TV. Very annoying. :@
