Disappointing to concede 2 in the last 10 mins....thought we were sounding fitter than Tranmere in the last 20/25 mins.

Sounded like we played very well second half, we just cant put the ball in the net. Looking a bit adrift again
now, need to win tuesday. You cant predict this leagues results, Orient putting 4 past Sutton and you would
have had your house on Aldershot to beat Halifax who were in freefall. We need to take 4 points at least
off Eastleigh at Christmas to drag them closer to us. I am afraid we are going to be in this scrap right to the end

The talk about being out of it by Christmas was ridiculous.
Mid table talk was even worse.
Just do the maths, this is going to be a struggle to the end.
We need goals and need others pulled into the struggle (Eastleigh).

Hopefully the injury to efete is not too serious. From what I have seen of him he will be a big miss.

We will be in the dogfight until the end. I am still waiting for this lottery win Nicholson spoke of.

With regards to striking options, does anyone know what came of that bid we made for a striker?

It was suggested on BTPIR that we had a failed bid for Daryl Grubb of WSM, who has gone to FGR.

Hi all Torquay fans, a Tranmere fan in peace here, I know it's a lot easier for me to praise your team after we have won the match but please really take heart from your performance today it looked only a matter of time before your team equalised today. Torquay looked one of the better teams to visit Prenton Park and tried to play good football unlike many of the other teams that visit. We as fans are glad to get that game out of the way and hopefully you will gain many points off our rivals. Good Luck for the remainder of the season and in my opinion you will finish at least mid table

Some think the mystery striker could have been Dayle Grubb who Weston-Super-Mare have just sold to Forest Green.

Yes agreed, I have been saying this for several weeks now on 2 forums and it still falls on mainly deaf ears. We have a huge amount to catch up to get anywhere near the 50 point (safety mark). We need to perform at least as an upper mid table team for the rest of the season to stand any chance of survival. We clearly still have not got the goal power in the team currently to achieve this. In fact we will do very well if we are still in with a chance at the end. This sadly is the reality of the situation.
