Surprised to see him axed. Surely one of the shortest tenures of any footballer playing for the Gulls. Played his first league match on 2 Sept and his last on the 12 Sept. No doubt someone will know of a shorter reign? :O

He was here on a non-contract basis, so always likely to be short-term. He either gets a longer deal or is released.

In terms of actual contracts, there was one trialist we offered a contract to in roughly the Leroy era on the basis of a hat-trick against Newton Abbot in the very first pre-season friendly that had been paid up and released well before the season actually started. 99% sure he was called Richard Bouton or similar.

I'm a little surprised and disappointed to see Chinua go...has potential and I don't imagine he was costing the world at this point.

Best of luck to him

Also disappointed. He had a calm head, a good defender and got the ball moving forwards. A cool dude. But we must surely have something better at the club to let him go - don't we?

No we clearly dont i am afraid.
He looked half decent and seemed composed if not fully match fit.

Well Anderson showed that he can't play left back so it does seem a shocking decision - why not wait at least until Liam Davis is fit?

I feel very sorry for Cole who played very well against Wrexham when we did not concede for only the second time this season.

Left back is a specialist position and Anderson is not a left back.

Gary Owers had to reduce the squad and I was surprised he dispensed with Cole when Liam Davis will not be fit for a few more games.
