I wondered how many have any sort of affiliation to american sport at all.
I never ever thought i would follow any but through links in USA now follow the Jacksonville Jaguars. and the Phillys baseball teams.
I was even surprised to find another Jags fans in Gloucester where i live!.

I can watch bits of American Football (I found myself being a Vikings fans because at Lancaster University we had an exchange program with a university in Minneapolis.), but I very rarely watch the whole game.

I tried to like baseball because an ex-girlfriend was huge Yankees fan but goodness me, it's a terribly boring sport.

I quite like basketball, now. And ice hockey is good to watch either during the play-offs, or if you can get to a game.

You have to treat baseball like test cricket. Watch lots of it and learn to appreciate the drawn out tactical battle between bat and ball. Sometimes you get a bit more action, but mostly, it's like chess on steroids.

None of you middle class enough for Lacrosse?

I live in a town where lacrosse is quite popular, but I don't really understand it. It's not on tv a lot either, so even if I wanted to it's hard to learn. I think they show the college playoffs every year, but that's really it.
