FGR's Dale Vince was described as an Eco warrior on the Radio a few minutes ago. yet in the next sentence they said he was planning a 100 acre site for sport and all sort of other things at or around Junction 13 of the M5.
Given that as far as i have heard most So called Eco warriiors also campaign for less building on green belt sites and this is a green belt site. Where does he come off pretending to be all for eco friendly subjects but when it suits him to line his own pocket wants to build on green belt land and dig up a whole 100 acres for a centre thats not really necessary, except in his own mind.

Motherfucker drives a BMW i8. Of course, because it can be charged and run electrically, it's eco-friendly, because, as we know, electricity comes out of the arses of magic fairies who produce no emissions whatsoever, and definitely not **** great coal fired powerstations.

That and the fact that, in order to make his shiny new car, millions of tonnes of emissions were given off, as opposed to my old Jag, which would have to drive 100,000,000 miles before it gave off as many carbon points (or whatever they're **** yacking on about this week) as his new eco BMW cost to produce. That's without accounting for the harm caused by the production and launch of the satellites which he utilises for his navigation system, the emissions generated by the decommissioning of his previous car and the million and one other things which simply wouldn't exist if he'd done like I did before Christmas and bought himself an old Nissan to replace his old Volvo to run alongside his old Jag and a very, very dull, diesel powered people carrier (although the Nissan, remarkably, has sat-nav).

Champagne socialist, meet Tofu ecomentalist.

Matt.

I once had an old Nissan Primera. It was great; went on and on for years (and miles)..
