Thought he deserved his own thread.

After listening to Dave Thomas on the podcast it seems as he is very highly thought of around the club. It is perceived that he has the potential to be involved in the first team this year and it leaves you wondering if Hargreaves has great faith in the kid by the lack of activity surrounding the left back vacancy provided by Nico leaving.

I am not sure if Cruise is going to get an offer but it seems increasingly likely there will be Ives and one other for the left back spot. The amazing thing is he is still only 16 (17 in 9 days time). I would very much hope we are/have offered him a pro contract to protect us against potential poachers.

I wonder if somebody with better knowledge on the youth team can give a little more info on him?

If you had watched the Yeovil game you would have notice that the lad had huge potential and one thing that youngsters lack which is confidence on the ball. I would not worry about him being first choice he's quick but I would tell him not to get over confident as he pushed a little to far forward to quickly but good player.
Better than Cruise! YES.

He really impressed me against Yeovil. Confident on the ball and very good for a 16 year old.

Is he Irish? Maybe down to the O' Kane connection. Eunan thinks very highly of TUFC for obvious reasons.

Matt he's quicker than you, am I right. He not super fast but he's got potential and can pass and I've read that you Matt like players that pass.

Over 100 yards, I'd beat him by an embarrassing margin. He's not anything like quick, not even for a person, let alone a professional athlete.

Matt I respect some of your views but Levi is bright and I THINK HE WILL BE ONE OF THE VERY FEW YOUNGSTERS to make the first team in the future. The other youngster also showed me that he has a lot going for him, I have worked with quite a few and think that Chris has seen this in both of them. :keepie:
