If he signs, CH will have done a good job to get him. Many Argyle fans were not happy that he was released. Should do very well in the Conference.

How have you heard this? Or where have you seen this? I'm very excited for him to sign if it's true. Wasn't it him that got the equaliser at HP on New Years a couple of years ago?

Really hope this comes off, great player but also a free kick specialist which with Nico gone we could do with another one!

I'd be delighted with this, Luke Young would be a very good player in the conference. If we can bring in a decent striker now I think we'd have the makings of a very good Conference team.
Luke.

I'd like to endorse RR. What he says goes, as far as I'm concerned.

Welcome Luke... whoever you are.

Great news, work with a Plymouth ST holder and he was fuming Luke Young had been released, told me he was their best creative player, good age, great potential, massive well done CH and club.

I have no reason to doubt Roadrunner, and will be extremely pleased when it is confirmed. Young has plenty of Football League experience, is bound to settle quickly as a local lad, and at 21 has plenty of scope to build on his obvious potential.

Importantly for our finances, and unlike a lot of our signings over the last two years, I'd like to think there's a fair chance we'll end up selling him on for a tidy fee.

Fantastic signing imo. Great footballer, great at dead balls, always rated him. I started a topic a while ago about the Plymouth released players and particularly made a point that he'd be a good signing. My one worry is that from what I know, he can't run. If say he was put in the middle with Lathrope, should he sign on, that's a slow midfield without an awful lot of height. Unless you deployed him in a trio of him, Lathrope and Mansell, again, should he sign on.
We'll be back...
