Potential New Strikers?

Released by Portsmouth. Exactly What we need but probably a bit on the pricey side.

Pricey may well be the reason Pompey have released him, Portsmouth will be deducted a further 10 points before the seasons end and will be relegated to League 2. Could well be trimming costs, however yes indeed would love him hear, but as you say price would be the one that would rule us out.

Yet again another Transfer Window comes around where Izale McLeod gets mentioned.

He's available in the same way that David Beckham is available - as in unattached, definitely could do a job for us and 110% not coming to Torquay.

He was happy to drop to Barnet (in both prestige and money) to get some football, so if he's struggling for offers, he might end up in yellow for half a season.

Marriage of convenience.

It was documented at the time that his other half was running a successful business in Milton Keynes and was reluctant to move, plus McLeod had been off the radar for a couple of years due to injuries. A club a short blast down the M1 was - literally - right up his street.

Whether that arrangement still exists I don't know - Pompey to MK isn't the greatest of journeys to be making regularly. I'd guess that could be part of the reason why he's escaped from his Pompey contract early.

As much as I'd love this standard of player to be part of our January shopping list, I just don't see it.

Dons is pretty much a dead cert for him. Loads of banter amongst my Dons mates and one of the lads watched him train with them this morning, arrived and left with Karl Robinson too

Didn't know about his missus, Jeff (who do you think I am, Paul Buckle?), but that does seem like a plausible scenario, in all but one detail

Sitting at home scratching her arse isn't really a viable option, it doesn't look good at parties or mummy and baby playgroup, so she gets herself a "job" to make herself feel better at these social gatherings.

Matt.
She runs her own business - not quite the dumb wag you have her (and others) out to be.

Why would you post stuff like this?

What is a woman capable of running a successful business doing anywhere near a footballer? The only reason these dolly birds go anywhere near footballers is money. If this business is too good to abandon, she, presumably, has some of her own. Very strange.

What about Karen Brady then?
