Were currently 1-0 up. Mansell with a penalty. Dont know the line up a friend at the game is keeping me updated.

Best info I could find on Lloyd Foot:

Never heard of him, but seemingly a 19year old, 6ft 2in Centre back out of the Southampton Academy

PSF scores are meaningless really, but it's good to know that Argyle only beat them 3 - 1 the weekend before last..

In years gone by, I remember successful pre-seasons where the actual season has proven to be sh*t.

Then there's been pre-season where we've been tanked every game and the season proper has been successful.

I await this coming season with interest.

Case in point - 2003/4. Beaten 4-1 by Fulham (I think, might have been the season after but either way we got beaten by a PL team); beaten 3-2 by Swindon; beaten 1-0 by Wimbledon; beaten 1-0 by Tiverton (!). End result - automatic promotion

Lloyd Foot? What on earth is he doing trialling for us? Is he still at Southampton? With Southampton now in the Premier League, opportunities there for him would be limited. Though it may well be that he's no longer at Southampton.

He'd be an ideal player to have at Plainmoor (centre back) but to read that article he seemed to be destined for a higher league.
