grockle are you sure?
Oxford City played away yesterday at Tonbridge in a 4-4 draw after both sides scored 2 goals in the last 5 minutes.
In fact Hampton & Richmond beat Maidstone yesterday, our FA Cup opponents, 2-1.

...and not forgetting Joe Oastler who also played (captain) in the 4-4 draw at Longmead.

It's not unusual for late goals at Longmead... the previous weekend the Angels were 1-0 up going into injury time and lost 1-2 to Chelmsford. It looked like it as going to be deja vu after Joe Turner put the Angels 3-2 up on 85 mins after trailing 0-2 at the break...

On a side note... hats off to the groundsman at Longmead for getting the game on after some torrential rain Friday night/Sat morning here in Kent

Re Angus McDonald..... all the best to him for his recovery of course! :-D
Hull City are refusing to pay Barnsley the £200,000 final instalment of his fee.
This means therefore that TUFC have not yet received the £20,000 sell on fee from them. :@

How can they refuse? Surely, they must be insured?

Hull are claiming Barnsley didnt disclose him having an iron deficiency prior to selling him. Probably arguing that their medical officers may have advised against buying him etc. Seems a long shot though.

I see Elliott Benyon and Joe Oastler both featured in Oxford City's 6-2 win against Chelmsford yesterday. Chelmsford had Leroy Lita playing for them. Always remember his hat trick for Bristol City against us at Plainmoor in 2005. Class player in his day!

Yes, Mr. Uptongull, I remember Lita's performance that day very well. He was one of the best footballers I've seen at Plainmoor (excepting Stubbs, Smith, Northcott, Loram, I could go on....).

They are chancing their arm.
If that was the case he would have failed the medical and it would have been down to the Hull medical team to point it out.
Hull (with dodgy owners as has been mentioned earlier) need to get their hand in their pocket and pay up. :@

Jody Banim has just been sacked as manager of Ashton United (Northern Premier League).
He didn't stay long at Plainmoor, but i thought he was good while he was here.
