Some how, Carayol starts for Middlesborough.
Also, sort of relevant, ex-Gulls target Ross Hannah scores a debut goal on loan from Bradford to Grimsby to condemn Paul Buckle's Luton to a 3-0 first half drubbing.

Bad week for ex-Gulls. Eunan on the end of a 4-0 drubbing at Swindon, Olejnik still not able to keep a clean sheet, Robbo an unused sub and Ellis and Wroe both getting poor ratings in the sunday papers. Oh dear.

On a positive note, Wardy seems to be doing well for Derby, three in three if I recall...

Matt.

It's just an excuse so he can get back to London for a bit. He's missing it you know being out in the sticks in the north east.

I was at a loose end yesterday so went to watch Bristol Manor Farm vs Gillingham (pronounced with a hard G sound, from Dorset I believe). There were approximately 40 in attendance and it was bloody excellent. Lots of good passing, very skillful attacking, and the ref was brilliant, controlled the play well and was all round a very satisfactory day out, at a beautiful setting.

Adrian Foster, a former striker of ours and lower league journeyman, was player manager for Gillingham, and looked quality and must really love the game.
