Kick off: 7.30pm
Prices: Adults and Concessions £3, Under 16 £1

Am I right in thinking that ONLY the Family stand is open for this game? Nevertheless I'll be there, partly because I've had a long enough break from Plainmoor

Anyone else planning on going to this tomorrow?

I would've gone had the popside been open. I can't stand watching games from behind the goal. Looks like I'll be waiting until Tuesday or next Friday to make my first friendly.

On the OS it says the Popside and the Away End is not available and the Bench is not open yet, so I'm guessing only the Family Stand is open.

just get along to the game you two, it makes complete sense just to open the family stand, keeps costs down, catering, refreshments, toilets etc are all there with a minimum of staff and stewards required, it wont hurt you both to watch from there for once

i'd be itching to get along to see new players and gaze in wonderment at the new stand! shame i live in bloody sheffield these days!!

2 teams for each half tonight (link that hopefully everyone can see now!?)

I cannot make it so a match report from those that can would be great. Particularly interested on how the young lad Thompson shows.

Oh dont worry Bixie I'm still going, despite having to watch from the FS end. Looking forward to seeing the new players and gazing at Bristow's Bench. It's gonna look brilliant. :scarf: :scarf:

My eyes aren't what they used to be Bix!!!!! Not sure I can be bothered to watch half a game. Had it been a bigger game then I would've been there.

I will still contribute some money to Help For Heroes anyway. Great Cause.

I would imagine we will look something like this:

The second half XI looks a bit stronger, especially in defence. First half back four I guessed, possibly Morris might be left back and Lathrope holding, depends on where the apprentice will play. We certainly need another defender.

First-Half

..................................Martin Rice.....................................

Daniel Leadbitter.... Brian Saah.... Damon Lathrope .... Jake Hutchings

..................................Ian Morris.......................................

..................Eunan O'Kane................Nathan Craig....................

Danny Stevens........................................................Saul Halpin

.................................Ryan Jarvis.......................................

Second-Half

................................Michael Poke.....................................

Joe Oastler .... Kirtys MacKenzie .... Thomas Cruise .... Kevin Nicholson

...............................Craig Easton.......................................

..................Lee Mansell................Ashley Yeoman....................

Niall Thompson........................................................Billy Bodin

.................................Rene Howe.......................................

The starting XI for each half was posted on the OS this morning, the only guesswork was the formation.

I'm sat on my sofa in Aberdeen, so that one is slightly harder.

HT: 2-0

Stevens (6) and O'Kane (Pen, 17).

2nd half side looks stronger to me, Bodin and Thompson wide with Howe up front, tasty.
