Your best bet is to ring the Herald Express and ask to speak to Dave Thomas, if anyone can help you he can! Sports desk 01803 676211.

Haha, this is like the old joke: I met a guy from America and he said to me "hey, you're from England, England is small, you must know that John Smith bloke..."

He might live in Devon, but so do 3,000,000 other people, we don't all know each other. :~D

It isn't uncommon for someone to know what an ex player is up to.

Thing is it`s nothing like an old joke at all, it`s not even funny! :|
We might not all know each other but someone who is a sporting local celeb might just be easily found on a site that should know who the bloke is! Possibly. i.e if your looking for someone you would naturally trace their history for contacts, it ain`t rocket science or are you just being an arse to someone who you don`t even know again? Ever heard of trying to be helpful instead of trying to be a smart arse all the time, a lot of your posts are very good reading and you obviously know your stuff but then you go at people for no apparent reason and it really does let you down.
Why do I feel massively hypocrytical right now!
Edit minor spelling f**k up!

Matt . . . :red:

The Sanderkok (beat the filter again) brothers were superb footballers for TUFC.

Because the Bros Sanderkok were before you time, I'll overlook your peetake.

My best memory of the late Kenny Sanderkok (spelling error) was when TUFC Colts won the Devon County Youth Cup in 1972.

Generous Kenny took us all out on the town in Torquay and paid for every round.

I was saddened when I heard of his passing. :(

We are touchy on here today, aren't we?

As for being rude to new people, what I did was say something irreverent, you'll recall that your opening reply to the guy was "Are you taking the p1ss?"

Remind me again which one of us is rude...
