My memory may be playing tricks, but wasn't Taylor's song a cringeworthy 'Ooh arr, it's Craig Taylor' a la Ambrosia?!

One of the great mysteries of the season for me is why 'Kumbayah' - used for Steve Woods and Guy Branston - hasn't been for Brian Saah. Not only is he a fellow CB, his name also rhymes perfectly with the song in question!

For Atieno, how about this to the tune of 'What shall we do with the Drunken Sailor?'

Tai-wo At-i-eno, Tai-wo At-i-eno, Tai-wo At-i-eno, Tai-wo At-i-eno
He's our Kenyan international, he's our Kenyan international, he's our Kenyan international, Tai-wo At-i-eno.

I agree that a cursory song for each player is a good thing, even if it's just 'there's only one [insert name]'. Someone must surely have an idea for LRT...

The "Kumbayah" song is reserved for Joe Oastler I believe, and he acknowledges it too (which is more than can be said for Saah and "Saah, Saah will tear you apart again")

I've always thought a good song for Tai would be to the tune of "Let's all do the conga", like Nigel Reo-Coker used to get......

"doo doo doo, Taiwo At-i-eno"

Saah clapped before the game on Saturday so I think he realises now...

I have heard Chris McPhee referred to as a number 2 on occasion, yes.

I think most of the players have got a song TBH.

Bobby Olejnik clap clap clap clap clap Bobby Olejnik

Kumbaya my Lord, Joe Oastler
Kumbaya my Lord, Joe Oastler
Kumbaya my Lord, Joe Oastler
Oh Lord, Joe Oastler

Saah, Saah will tear you apart again!

One Mark Ellis, there's only one Mark Ellis

Nicholson, Nicholson, Nicholson, Nicholson!

(New one for Damon Lathrope)
Damon Lathrope's magic, he wears a magic hat
And when he signed for Torquay, he said I'm avin that!
He didn't sign for Norwich or Swindon cus they're sh*te
Instead he signed for Torquay cus they're f***ing dynamite

Lee, Lee, Lee Mansell!

EUNAN, EUNAN, EUNAN, EUNAN!

Danny Stevens der, der, der, der, Danny Stevens!

Super Rene Howe, Rene Howe, Super Rene Howe! Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, Super Rene Howe, Rene Howe, Super Rene Howe!

Only Morris hasn't got a song in the first team.

Taiwo, Taiwo Atieno, runs down the wing for me! De, de, de, de, de, de, de, de, de, de, de, de, de, de, de, de, de, de, de, de, de!

LATHANIAL ROWE-TURNER! LATHANIAL ROWE-TURNER!

One Ryan Jarvis, there's only one Ryan Jarvis! (a quick song made up for him on saturday).

So they nearly all have a song, but I do think that we need to make up some more complex songs for our players.

Yeah lots of generic chants for players. Reckon it would be great for team morale, and good fun for us to come up with some individualised ones rather than chants that are used at every club in the country.
We have a well used forum and a core group of away fans so it's definitely doable.

Ill think of some later...

I put that song for Bobby on the 'Yellow Army' board, but instead of "He is a big f*cka", "United's shot-stopper".

[quote="tufc4life1"]We've got one for damon sang it Saturday

super damon lathrope he wears a magic hat
and when he signed for torquay he said I'm having that
he wouldn't sign for norwich or swindon coz their sh*t
instead he signed for torquay coz there fu***ng dynamite!!!

Loving this one for Damon!

Also liking the Tai-wo-at-ieno to the tune of 'what shall we do with a drunken sailor' and the Danny Stevens one from Gaz. The '4ft3' bit howeverreminds me of Jo Kuffour's song 'He's 4ft3, he's better than (Thierry) Henry, Jo Kuffour, Jo Kuffour' although I was thinking we could change it to 'He's 4ft3 he's better than Messi..... but Danny's name doesn't fit the ending as its an extra syllable (?sp)
