Overslept and missed first half - looks even stevens on the live text and Bigman confirms this.
Kettle is on and a mug of tea :engflag: and a bowl of shreddies :engflag: should set me up for a victorious 2nd 45mins :scarf:

Will do my best to bring insight and wit to the next 35mins

Cannot get the radio feed so have to rely on the scraps from livetext... :@ Looks like the game is opening up now. :-D

Has McPhee been sent down the touch line for a couple of lung bursting sprints yet? :clown:

Billy B is off the bench, now their defenders will get cross eyed with all his ruddy stepovers - he's got some skills
I saw his last goal on gull player and he sent the cameraman the wrong way

Not sure whether Mr Mcphee would know what a lung bursting sprint actualy is lol. He could send the defence the worng way with a couple of shots. providing he is facing the right goal.

Dinger using his bench well today
LRT on for little'un
This sounds like a battle, concerned we have picked up 3 cards and none for Oxford.
Game will be settled by a moment of genius from O'Kane...

No mention of McPhee on the live text since he came on - has he touched the ball?

FT
0-0
Solid point - would have loved a win. 4pts from 6 - the good run continues
Plymouth will be tough away - they are doing ok at Shots today
Looking forward to hearing the reports later.

0-0. Oastler clipped the post after Morris shot straight at keeper when clean through, and he also drifted a cross-shot just wide. Good defending prevented Lathrope nodding in a good Oastler cross following a decent move and Mansell lashed the best chance of the day wide late on. For them, Duberry clipped the bar with a header and Constable nodded one just wide. We had more of the game but they probably were actually closer to scoring so a fair result. I'd have given MOTM to Ellis though Robertson got it.

I can't help but wonder what he would have done with the bench. Maybe chucked it at the opp defence. Or put it in front of goal. It's got ot be a big wooden one though to stop the Oxford attack.

I'm going to sound like asshole brucie but

pretty dire 0-0

Both teams were there for the taking, we were unlucky at times like when oastler hit the post.
shows are lack of depth that we couldnt bring on something to change it up
Keith stroud the ref was poor

and jesus the atmosphere was awful!

Just back from the game.

Right result in my opinion although we had the better chances and really should have won it from at least one of them.

But I did think Oxford were a solid and accomplished team.

The football on the whole was not great, 2 teams cancelling each other out.

McPhee did make one VERY good contribution actually, held the ball up and turned and put a delightfull pass down the right wing for Ummm.. forgot :) but anyyway it was a good move. He did ok ish I thought, no real clangers, tried to put himself about a bit. He wasnt great but ok I thought.

Against 2 good teams in Swindon and Oxford our defense has looked bloody good I think, well done to them for keeping 2 clean sheets against good opposition at this level.

Robertson MOM, yep, no one else really shined, solid performance, not overly great but I will take a point from this.

Cripes that was awful. Bad atmosphere and bad football on the pitch. Some nice moves but two sides set up the same way cancelled each other out, as said. They werent anything special though.
