Argyle going under?!?

Post by Plymouth Gull »

Sounds pretty dire, for them now.

So they've been wound up.

3 points above the relegation zone is bad.
Peter Ridsdale being in talks with your club is worse.
Getting your lowest gates for years is even worse.

Its never good to see a club go under, especially if its a team who has held the Devon flag high for years, while us and Exeter struggled.

I hope they come through it..

I agree there Nick.

Nobody wants to see well established clubs go under. As ever its the fans who suffer of those clubs. Sheff Weds have their troubles and I guess there will be others soon. Mis-management at board level has a lot to answer for at clubs...

What'll happen now theres no World Cup?!?

Staff not being paid.
No World Cup success.

It's worrying, and it makes me even more glad that we have a consortium who are all fans, who love the club.

Be interesting to know what happened to all the dosh they got for Ebanks-Blake, Mackie, Norris etc that have left in the last couple of years. Im sure I got to about 8m when i added it up last time...

Well spotted Dave...Wheres the strikethrough gone?

Halmosi was the one I was thinking of, not Poxey ;-) (Not forgetting Gosling as well)

Still like to know what happened to all the money though

Do not want to see them go under and it is not because I live in the city -simply, it will weaken football in Devon if they do not survive.
