Last night/this morning was fantastic! The inevitable draw will definitely be seen as a victory for England. The momentum will be with us going into Adelaide. I love the ashes!

A lot of people calling it a 'boring draw' but I think we pulled it back in spectacular fashion and all credit to Strauss for shaking off his third ball duck with a century.
Australia probably thought their bowlers would continue as they had in our first innings so must be disappointed.
The look on Ponting's face was priceless.
Agreed the momentum is with us and confidence should be high. We're in a strong position.

As favourites we made hard work of that. The pitch was flatter the any of the singers on Shat factor, but we still capitulated in the first innings. At least our batsmen seem to have woken up but my grandma could have got a ton on that pitch against that Aussie attack, so I think a draw was inevitable.
Well done to the top 3 though, lets hope they can carry that form into next week. :engflag:

Watched the first session last night and then the highlights. The pitch is flatter than Pavarrotti's wife after a session in the sack but the Aussies struggled on it.
Jimmy's come back into a bit of form and our fielding was top drawer. You know the Aussies are worried when they are moaning about not getting an extra over in at the death-in Oz!!
If I were Strauss I'd have pointed at the scoeboard, smiled and told Ponting to 'Fook off'!
I think (hope I dont put the mockers on us) we've got 'em :engflag:

Its looking embarrassingly easy at the moment. KPs just passed a 100 and they dont look as if they know how to get Cook out.
Worst Aussie side in my living memory, fancy my own chances of getting a score! :engflag:

Will be interesting to see how the Aussie boys bounce back from that. They have lost their opener now too.
Shame about Broad though, but Swann and Anderson seem to be unplayable at the moment. Everything they touch turns to wickets.
