It was an honour to stand amongst our support at yesterdays game. I've talked about an ever growing number of young fans spreading out along the popside, a new breed of TUFC supporter and very reason why we as fans have to do all we can to keep our club alive, they along with every fan there were a total credit to our club.

The atmosphere was carnival like before the game and never stopped through out, from teenagers to those in their 20's,30's there was no age limited as I looked around to see everyone joining, an absolute blast, even after the final whistle even though not a great result, not always a good performance either, the singing continued as Downes, Hall and the entire squad set up line up in front of the fans, unity, togetherness, and the real meaning of oneclubunited.

As said the performance wasn't great , some individual decision making was awful at times, hanging on the ball when an obvious pass was on for instance, quality of crossing into box was poor also, but rarely troubled at the other end, but for an absolute worldie of a save from their keeper from a Jarvis flick right in front of us, and the ball cleared of the line from the resulting corner TUFC could have left with the points, first half for TUFC was better than the second which was a little scrappy, but during the closing moments of the game as the fans got louder, almost trying to draw the ball home, TUFC had really good possession but just couldn't find the quality to seal the win.

Weymouth a clean tidy ground, well organised from their stewards, to inside the ground where there was a small club house set aside for TUFC fans, who brought plenty of beer  I can only wish them well for their future.

Presume Booth was injured as he's been playing quite well and Downes reported as saying there's a problem with loans?
Colchester more than likely not paying Nelson's wages so he's gone back ? but QPR probably are paying Jude-Boyds

I did wonder about Booth, Downsie has been a breath of fresh air regarding the injury situation.

Hopefully it’s just a niggle. Austin did tell me just after he joined that he was in a probationary period with the club, I’m hoping he’s not decided to head back to his former employment with the current situation here.

If that’s the case then first of all it’s a shame as he was looking promising. But would Downesy have loaned Calum Thomas to Tiverton knowing that Booth is likely to leave which would leave him with two (potentially three with Ronny Nelson’s situation) centre backs less than before, on top of the fact that Finley Craske is going to be out for the season?

That was common practice at Plainmoor and other grounds 20 years ago.

From a security perspective it's done at a lot of events. Having dealt with injuries to people at festivals etc I can see why it's done even though I dislike it on a personal level.

I always used to carry a spare bottle top in my pocket. As soon as they confiscated one I put the other on.
