Chippenham Away tickets

Post by Bigman »

I didn't realise online ticket sales for Tuesday closed yesterday and don't live in the bay to get one at the ticket office today.

Is anyone going today and Tuesday and would be willing to visit the ticket office before today's game to get me 1 student and 1 child ticket for Chippenham? I'll meet you at Chippenham to exchange tickets and money (and maybe buy you some chips - says alcohol not for sale to away fans).

Thanks in advance.

Game no longer segregated and tickets will be in sale on the night. Sounds like we didn't shift many.

A game I would have normally attended but not the way we are playing at the moment. A number of Popside feel exactly the same, can’t say I blame them.

Sadly I feel exactly the same. Normally me and the Boy would be setting off for this one tomorrow but really cannot find any enthusiasm to attend. I feel a bit disloyal but after the performances away at Weston and Hereford I just cannot face another drive to watch. The drive home is so depressing. Every game is just so dour. The Boy is a bit gutted as he has a new flag. Still I've still got tickets for Taunton and Truro so I'm sure it will get an airing soon!!!

Is this disloyalty? I don’t think so

Not disloyalty at all. The petrol costs and attendance fees to watch this complete dross means we all have a choice. The crap that is being served up
by a Full Time team that should be doing far better makes our choice easy. It is hard enough attending Home games, the beers with friends and the socialising is the best part. However as soon as this current bunch of softies enter the field in this Pi33 Poor league and the Saturday goes downhill.
I love this football club but I dislike the soft bunch that represents us and that includes the Management .

I know some fans like to be there but it doesn't make sense to me to drive a round trip of 240 miles in the dark and disgusting weather when you can watch it on the TV at home for £9.50. I'm even tempted to do that for evening home games sometimes and that's only a
30 mile round trip but haven't got to that stage yet !
