Halstead - without several good one on one saves we would have lost by a street
Dawson - was our best midfielder and strove hard to make up for the missing Lapslie
Evans - tried his energetic best to plug gaps and try to move up forward. Good goal.
Lawrence - oozes class even at his tender years. Shame the rest of his defensive colleagues can't match him
Jarvis - once again tried his best with little quality service
Phil

Another marathon beckons!

MoM was Halstead. Several great saves, brave to continue after having a boot in the face. We were worried he may be replaced at half time. Very brave.

Nico. Covered every blade of grass, did a tremendous amount of running to make up for Lapslie after his red card.

Evans. Quality goal that was executed to perfection, a lovely chip that beat the gk and dipped into the net.

Dawson. Looked class and a decent recruit, another willing runner who does hide.

Sorry, Sorry, Sorry. That should read Another decent runner, who does NOT hide.

Halstead - kept us in it with some great one on one saves, brave goalkeeping after getting walloped. And bonus point for hitting that Corrie Andrews in the back of the head with his kick.

Dawson - After playing so few games, I thought he really added extra bite in midfield, helping break up their play. Hopefully he'll only improve and he can add some creative play as well. Hope he stays on next season.

Nico - He's 19? Some player, looked like he had an injury but wouldn't give in to it.

Evans - quality finish, but can't remember much else he did.

Donnelian - marmite character I know, but he did a lot of lung busting end to end runs to pressure their players, and with some similar pitch length attacks of his own, and feel this effort at least, should be appreciated. Point taken away for not passing to Jarvis for a tap in though.

Mark Halstead. MOTM with a brave and outstanding performance deserving the ovation he received at the end of the Match.

Kevin Dawson. You knew after just 10 minutes that this was the type of experienced Pro Gary should have recruited last Summer.

Keiron Evans proved he has quality with his goal which took exceptional skill and a cool head.

Nico Lawrence. Another very good display, quick, committed and always looking to cover the mistakes of others.

Ross Marshall. A strong performance but I worry he sometimes goes in so strong he only has to get his timing slightly wrong and its a Red Card.
