I took a friend of mine to the game who doesn't watch much non league football.
Asked him for his thoughts on the game and he said that it was a close game and could've gone either way, I then told him they were top of the league and his response was 'no way, they don't look good enough

I thought he was hustling quite well up there, didn't look shattered but concide I could have been mistaken. He didn't look happy to be hauled off. Linesman nearest the pop was atrocious. Only got one decision right all afternoon.

Hanson luckiest player to stay on the park, Notts County dug in with 10men, they are a huge club trying to get into the FL again, up against Wrexham, yes they went big at FT, do I blame them?, No way, we are such a mixed bag, everything about us dosent add up at times, what is our style, game plan/tactics?, we've used way to many players, Aguair and the lad from Cardiff have obviously cleared off, we "lump it" way to much and go long, it's horrid to watch, it's desperate really, I cannot figure us out, results didn't really go for us, I still maintain that the senior experienced players are our best, plus Jarvis and Donnellan, the rest can leave, thats about 7 or 8 max I'd keep, a total rebuild and clean slate needed, and hopefully new manager who has a clue.

Just back from Plainmoor. We put on a real battling performance against the League leaders but came up short as in the second half we just did not have the ability to create genuine chances.

Nico Lawrence was a rock in defence but it was very clear before he was substituted that Fadahunsi was not match fit.Hanson was a total liability and not good enough for this level. Langstaff scored his 24th goal of the season to put County 1 up but Tom Lapslie equalised just before half time from a deep cross by Donnellan. After we scored it was a relief to see Hanson taken off to be replaced by Marshall.

Gary was forced to substitute 2 players in the first half for completely different reasons. If you aspire to playing Full Time Professional Football in the 5th Tier of English Football you have to be 100% fit. If you blow up after 15 minutes you are not fit. I said to two of my mates after 20 minutes Gary is going to have to take off Tope Fadahunsi because he cannot run. The player was very upset to be subbed so early but it was the the right decision.

Hanson was off because he already had a Yellow Card and was nailed on for a second yellow with a series of rash tackles giving Gary no choice but to take him off and again the player showed dissent which was unprofessional.

For those of us at Plainmoor this was a gripping contest and although NC went home with 3 points I take a lot of confidence into the next game because we gave our all for the shirt.

A special mention for Kieron Evans. I thought this was by far his best game for United and he is improving in what is a very tough League. COYY.

While not expecting anything before the game after our battling performance at woking I was expecting a lot more than we delivered today for all our hoofed ball county were rarely troubled to any extent, de silva was in the pocket of the wingback most if not all the game and with that went the majority of attacking threat. Far too many crosses were wasted or not good enough to trouble their defence. Hanson is nearly as big a liability as marshall, in my opinion the wrong starting eleven was picked, Fadhunsi certainly saw more of the ball in his short cameo than collins did for his longer one, if johnson is worried about fadhunsu's fitness bring him on with 20 to go where his muscle may count. It was telling to me when Hanson was very sensibly withdrawn for Marshall who went into the back three but johnson did not bring on the supposed specialist full back in crowe. It is about time that Hall either stepped up or stepped out, we cannot afford to carry players who manage one game and miss six or seven at a time, although that is said more in anger I know his experence would have made a big difference today.

Good game. How Hanson and Wyatt stayed on was amazing. The lino was spot on, despite the booing and shouting.. Nemane did Wyatt well and truly and it was a poor challenge and clear penalty. But the lads had a go. Plenty of effort. Gary had a job today plugging holes due to the liabilities of players. Good entertainment. Close game.

Beaten narrowly by moneybags NC, whose time wasting and spoiler tactics got under everybodys skin. Very annoying but lead by there captain
I am hopeful he will be down here again next season as they always fail in the Play Offs.
As for us.......Hanson is a total liability, had a poor game at Woking and an even worse one today, lucky not to see Red with poor mistimed tackles guess Johnson is forced to play him with injuries to
Mc Gavin who is only a tad better than Hanson in my opinion. As for injury prone Hall it cried out for his experience today, but his injury record is woeful, legs gone, always injured and now past his sell by date. Thanks but goodbye.
The Home form is crucial in our fight for survival as are the games at Aldershot, Gateshead, Dorking and Maidenhead,
Trophy game next week which we could do without, would rather be attempting to get league points

I was impressed with how the lads restricted notts. I wouldn’t say it was a case of them not looking like a top of the league side, they played some lovely football at times and we made it difficult for them. We won a lot of second balls and fought for everything. You can’t ask for much more than that.

It’s the first defeat in a long time that I’ve walked away from not feeling too disappointed. No one expected to get anything today and the players showed some quality and a lot of fight.

After the trophy tie we have a very big week. Saturday Barnet home, Tuesday Dorking away, Saturday Southend home.

Just seen the highlights, Wyatt gets the ball and Nemane goes down with very little contact, shambolic decision which the linesman has bottled the decision

That's never a penalty ! No wonder Moxey and Wyatt were incensed. Looked convincing at the time from admittedly 60 yards away but he's very good at that - Nemane did exactly the same in the away match in October - 'won' a penalty with a cheating dive. Say no more.

Clear pen. Our lads was done. Bad defending. Yes Nemane went down easy, but to let their most dangerous player start a run then react when it's too late. Bad show. Yes the officials weren't the best, but we could easily have had 2 players sent off, so to blame them is clutching at straws. I enjoyed the game. Packed with incident.

So at the match, I was sat right in front of the penalty incident. To me it looked as if Nemane played a ball, then ran, Wyatt was slow off the mark, Nemane was away and Wyatt tripped him, cos he was gone. Now, Ive just looked at the highlights, and my opinion is unchanged. Stone wall. Come on guys be honest when its due. Clear pen. Say what you want about the lino, but Wyatt tripped the bloke in the box. It's a pen.

If your opinion is unchanged then you came to the same same wrong decision that the officials did.

Wyatt comes across the ball and makes next to no contact, Nemane does this all the time and because he's small he gets away with it.
