You reckon this is worse than the Derby game? Given that we haven't played on it since boxing day it can't be that bad right?

With all the rain we have had recently and last nights deluge,it's a distinct possibility.
Maybe not such a bad thing ..Will enable the 'old boys ' an extra week to recover also the so called international clearance to go through and more time to blood the new boys

I just think with the amount of rain we've had, and are due to get, combined with the fact that I'm pretty sure GJ won't want to play if it's a really heavy/dodgy pitch, I'm sure there's some rule that the home side can, or do have the choice?, I'm probably butchering that FA rule, so I won't explain something I'm not entirely clued up on, but I remember a few years ago Forest Green played Newport away, and the ref said the pitch was "playable" yet Newport called the game off, Like Stoneybroke states, maybe not a bad thing?.

You wouldn't think football is a game designed to be played outdoors in the winter by the way some people go on when you get a drop of rain.

There you go, a little bit of rain didn't do any harm.

I am. Crapped out briefly just before kick-off, but seems OK now. Not sure whether the problem was at their end or mine. As an aside, the Bench and the Family Stand look pretty threadbare, which isn't too surprising, I suppose.
