Barnet v Torquay : Saturday 19th November 2022 3.00

Post by standupsitdown »

Not an easy game at all and a point would be a good result.

For those travelling by tube, Barnet have sent out the following email:

Good afternoon,

Due to Flood Alleviation Works being carried out on-site, the Whitchurch Lane entrance (close to Canons Park Station) will be closed for the foreseeable future.

We ask all users to enter via Camrose Avenue when accessing The Hive London until the work is completed.

Those travelling by tube are advised to get off at Queensbury (Jubilee Line) and walk-up Turner Road towards Camrose Avenue.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Kind Regards,

The Hive London

How many do you think we will take today? Usually a good following in London. Looking forward to it!

I’d go for something like

Halstead
Donnellan Ness Ellis Moxey
Lapslie Hall Smith
Wearne Jarvis De Silva/Evans

If Moxey is fit he could always shift Crowe back to RB and move Donnellan into midfield. Goodwin a doubt but he was quiet on Tuesday, we could do with the extra man in midfield to shore things up.

188 sold in advance on their site, but given the availability of tickets I suspect a few haven’t bought them yet.

This is pretty much how I'd like us to like up. I'd possibly have hall on the bench to give him a rest

Another big game and three points are badly needed. Somehow, just somehow we need a win to kick start a run. The games leading up to Christmas will go a long way in deciding our future.

Come on you YELLOWS, we can do this starting today 💛

I think a point would be a good result if we can follow it up with a win against Gateshead. I’m not sure Barnet are as good as their current league position suggests. They are conceding on average 2 goals a game which is only slightly better than us. I would be happy with a dull 0-0, and a defensive improvement where we don’t give the opposition chance after chance.

Firstly I hope Hall is rested for this one, as he is a big liability with his tired legs.
Will be a tough game at the Hive, however maybe just maybe we can upset the form book as everything points to a home win at the Bookies.
2-2 I will settle for. COYY

Devon Bee I agree with Hall's tired legs, but him or Hanson , its Hall every time, Hanson has probaly been one of the biggest disappointments since his arrival, tuesday he was out of his depth, lacked positional sense and doesnt lke a tackle, less hopeful of scratching a draw today.

I have to agree regarding Hanson, personally I would rather have Smith in the centre of midfield rather than Hall or Hanson.
Johnson recruits in Hanson and McGavin have proved a costly mistake especially if both are on 2 year deals as both look totally out of
their depth from what I ahve seen so far with my own eyes.
I feel Hanson has come with a bottom of the NL mentality with him, something we certainly don;t need.
