Eastleigh v Torquay Utd 25/10/22

Post by Admiral »

Marshall suspended, will Gary be forced to play a back 4?

As De Silva is back from suspension, perhaps Smith will play on the other wing in a 4-4-2?

4-4 on Saturday

0-0 (191 Gulls)

Eastleigh away is a real bogey team for us and we very rarely get a result.

Also Eastleigh beat Chesterfield a short time ago so they are hard to beat.

However you never know and after scoring 4 goals in the second half on Saturday that must be a big lift for the boys.

I am hopeless predicting the result so I am going to say 2-1 to Eastleigh in the hope I am proved wrong and we will create a big upset.COYY.

I can’t see anything other than a defeat. We’re 11/2 to win which says it all.

Halstead
Crowe Donnellan Okoli Moxey
Smith Hall McGavin De Silva
Jarvis Goodwin

Or potentially a 3-5-2 again, with De Silva LWB. Hope it’s a 4-4-2 to take the pressure off Moxey and Crowe to do everything at both ends!

It’s a 3/5, but De Silva is playing that high up it’s basically 4-4-2

Wtf is wrong with this team, you go 1-0 down after playing alright, still plenty of time, Jarvis sent off just after the restart. No discipline or game management skills

There is no discipline. I think it partly comes from frustration of playing in such a poor side. Even before the goal the stats show it was coming.

Individual responsibility. You can't say "Oh, I just hit someone cos I'm in a poor team!"

The players are letting themselves, the team, the management and the fans down. They need to dig in.

Its the management who is letting everybody down. FFS wake up - he has to go.
