Wrexham v Torquay United Mon 5 April 3pm KO

Post by portugull »

Wrexham have the best Home record in the League in terms of goals conceded just 8.

Both teams are going to be well matched but Wrexham have big problems with injuries to their strike force.

I cannot see many goals in this one so I predict a 1-1 draw.

Good Stadium, good pitch lets hope for a good game on the Livestream £10.

Watched their highlights reel against Bromley and they looked pretty good. Their fan gave us the hint that they normally set up with a 352 formation. Wondered whether we should match them up: Sherrington, Lewis & Law.
Our problem with that formation is that right midfielder. Hall and Randell are an excellent midfield duo. Andrew’s has to play on the left, his natural position. Just can,t seem to fit CLE and Little in the same team (Gerrard / Lampard). I would give Wynter a go at that right side and one of the above would have to hit the bench. Does Connor need a day off? Controversial I know.

anyone who saw the Wrexham home game will know that their keeper Dibble was all over the shop, definitely one to target

well on top in the first 10mins with 4 corners - not great delivery so far!

HT 0-0

having wright up top makes such a difference, shame Kimpioka has gone off

6 corners and a couple of freekicks in good area - delivery - shocking!

Little again is letting the side down, playing on the left he is weak, poor crosses, very poor free kicks, poor defending from which they nearly scored. out two centre half's are nervous, we have had nine attempts on goal only two on target, need to change things around.

Disagree. Defence has done well. Dior Angus is a lively opponent.

Little is not letting the side down, he is playing where the manager has told him to play.

as important as that win hopefully the knocks to LHE and Kimpioka are minor!

I agree Dawlishmatt that's where the manager has told him to play, but he is doing it exceeding poorly,he cannot tackle anymore, lost count of the times he has given the ball away and two good free kicks both into the atmosphere. he is a weak link at the moment, and teams will quickly learn about that.

OMG I didn't see that coming. Not a great performance again but who cares. It's all about 3pts and we have now got 12 out of 15. Just think that at 10pm next Tuesday we could be top of the league!!!!!. Torquay play Weymouth at plain Moor while Sutton were due to play Dover on Saturday. Next Tuesday Sutton are at home to.........

As has been pointed out to me on here, I know nothing about football... but I do know one thing, Waters and Boden should thank their lucky stars that they have both got away with impersonating professional footballers thus far.

Once Benjamin and Danny went off, I cringed when I saw the two replacements... but, no, surely this time they'll show me that I really do know sweet FA about the game... wrong. Misplaced passes, running around (a lot), more misplaced passes, shoulder shrugging (a lot) ad nauseum.

Thankfully Sherring showed dumb and dumber how to actually shoot.

A valuable 3 points... a long way to go yet.
